I don't even want to know what happened in that bedroom before or after she died, but those pics at the funeral are a portrait in fear.
Something's got him spooked.

I dont think there are any good people in this storyI guess you're right about that but it's a shame that she went to her judgement refusing to grant forgiveness to her husband.

On her deathbed, a hurt, angry Elizabeth screamed at John, saying You ruined my life Ill NEVER forgive you! I hope, for the sake of Elizabeth's soul, this isn't true.
Elizabeth Edwards' deathbed words will probably haunt John Edwards for the rest of his life.
Unfortunately, I doubt he has the moral compass necessary for this to "haunt" him.

Yeah, but...her deathbed actions may haunt her for an eternity. Nope, her eternity will depend only on the decision she made of whether or not to accept the grace of salvation offered by Jesus, and she made that decision - whatever it was - long before her deathbed actions toward John.

I read her book and I don’t believe this Enquirer story (of course, the book could be full of lies too).
She basically makes the point in her book that after the death of a child, nothing else can touch that pain. Not infidelity, not cancer—nothing. Hence the title “Resiliance.”
To: presidio9
I don’t believe a word of this. It may well be true that Elizabeth never forgave John, but screaming on her deathbed? With advanced cancer about to claim her life, and with the kinds of powerful pain-killing drugs given to such patients? No way did the scenarios described in this article happen.

I highly doubt it.
In fact, I’d bet money he left her bedside, checked his hair and bedded is mistress that night.

I’m with you on that one.

Let me get this straight. John E amassed a fortune of $53 million dollars and he ruined her life? LOL! Right? The cancer surely ruined her life. John Edwards fling? The 53 million could have cushioned that blow very nicely.

Thanks, I didn't think that it was legally binding to put that type of term in to a will.
Here' one for you...
A racist co-worker of mine wanted his will to prevent his daughter for recieving any money if she married a black man. His lawyer said it was not legal to do that.

It is the Enquirer afterall. Since the Enquirer broke the original story about Edward's affair, perhaps the affair never happened. /SARC

I agree with Elizabeth Edwards ... Infidelity is the greatest of all sins.

Not quite.

Forgive me, but I am not one who think that this woman was a saint, simply because she got ‘betrayed’ by her husband. She knew what he was, what a sleazebag he was and stayed with him anyway - at least up until the affair. One can only guess the reasons she stayed with him through all the rest of his ‘honorable’ career, I’m sure. Finally, whatever the result is from the affair, it was the cancer that eventually killed her, not the affair.

She was willing to keep quiet about the matter as he was seeking the White House. She needs to let it go. She's dead. I'm certain that she now faces much bigger concerns.

How sad for Elizabeth, to go to the grave with that much hate.. when we hold that much rage at someone it eats us up not the object of the anger..

Elizabeth Edwards' deathbed words will probably haunt John Edwards for the rest of his life. He's a trial lawyer and a dem. He was long over it before she assumed room temperature
