Why is it not all that surprising that disgraced ACORN founder Wade Rathke is a huge fan of anti-American activist Julian Assange of WikiLeaks infamy?
Actually, it makes perfect sense. Until its recent purported dissolution, ACORN was Americas largest urban terrorist organization. Rathke, just like his inspiration Saul Alinsky, supports using extreme methods up to and including violence in order to achieve his goals. Assange hasnt expressed support for using violence himself from what I can tell, but he doesnt mind if American servicemen and women are killed or maimed as a result of his disclosure of secret U.S. military documents. Assange and Rathke are spiritual kith and kin.

He’ll love leakers just fine until ACORN leaks are released.
Pity the Claire McCackle election (where a St. Louis judge ordered the polling places held open till 1 AM) couldn’t be reexamined. This had ACORN’s fingerprints all over it.
Julian is Cloward-Piven heavy... as is radke..
He will be, until the next WikiLeaks document is about him at ACORN.
Assange has a noble ideal up front — keep governments and other powerful organizations with power over people accountable to them. His route for this is also a good one, giving the people information about what they are doing. We even have a law promoting this check on government power, the Freedom of Information Act. For corporations, the SEC filings and some shareholder actions are supposed to be the check.
Assange’s problem is that he takes it to an irresponsible extreme. He releases information regardless of the damage it may do. OTOH, a case can be made that governments redact things in officially released documents not for reasons of of natioal interest or security, but to hide nefarious actions and protect politicians from personal embarrassment for their wrongful actions.
In comparison, there’s nothing noble about this ACORN pimp’s actions or intent.
ACORN ping.
thanks for the ping
