ONE-TWO! ONE-TWO! ONE-TWO! ONE-TWO! ONE-TWO! ONE-TWO!
LEFT-RIGHT! LEFT-RIGHT! LEFT-RIGHT! LEFT-RIGHT! LEFT-RIGHT! LEFT-RIGHT!
Combination after coupon combination!
Getting strong now
Won't be long now
Getting strong now
Yeah, baby! Today to an outside observer I probably appeared like some ordinary shlub obsessed with coupons walking up and down the aisles of Walgreen's. However, in my own mind I was the ROCKY of couponers scoring hit after hit on deal after deal. They just kept coming one after another. FREE Omega Factor 3 which yielded Register Rewards to get me FREE SalonPas Arthritis Pain Patches which yielded me Register Rewards to get me FREE (almost) Sinex spray which yielded up yet more Register Rewards to get me FREE Omega 3 again orrrrrr....the mother lode of all deals...a big $30 box of Colonaide cleanse which, after simply using the WAG booklet $20 coupon plus a $10 RR, fell before me in a FREE knockdown.
Did I need most of this stuff? Not really but it won't hurt to try out, say, that colon cleanse. Hey, it was FREE!
And I got a LOT of other stuff as the Walgreens Catalina machines kept spitting out out a horde of register rewards...even for stuff I didn't expect like FREE Afrin nasal spray and FREE Breathrite.
Reward after reward. Coupon after coupon. Overage after overage as one product after another product fell before the might of The Coupon Whisperer. A sea of FREE Omega 3s, Sinex, SalonPas, spaghetti sauce, bread, Jimmy Dean Breakfasts, Afrins, Breathrites, and TP. Ay! Ay! Ay! Acai! Cai! Cai! Ma...Ma...Macai! Cai! Cai!
And as the day went on with the stuff piling up I kept getting...stronger and stronger. Yes, I am running up those steeply ascending steps armed with my mighty coupons. Getting closer now. Almost at the top now. And HERE I AM as I jump up and down with my arms upraised in VICTORY!!! Can you hear it? The Rocky theme tune. ADRIAAAAANNNNNNNNNNE!!!
And how many of you scored that FREE $30 box of Colonaide today?
what i don’t understand is why you can’t use a “buy two get a $1 off” in combination of the store’s buy one get one free!! Unless you get a couldn’t care less cashier or a dumb one (which isn’t hard)
Welcome aboard, PINGEE #88.
I did BETTER than that today. However, The Coupon Whisperer won't reveal ALL his secrets except to say all answers CAN be found on the Web.

Thanks, I’ve been studying a bit. Picked up the booklet and weekly coupon flyer from Walgreens before going to the gym. I’m going to sign up at CVS tomorrow for their program. I was using my girlfriend’s CVS number sometimes and one time I wound up getting free gum that I like, had to only pay the tax. I thought that was pretty cool, I didn’t realize what was possible though.
Oh, why hold back some secrets? Such a tease! LOL, It’s only us freepers here. I’m sure we’ll all be sharing tips here and there.
Maybe once you get the ping list established we can have a little step by step tutorial thread.
The best tutorials are on the web. Basically you simply match up the sales with the coupons. Actually YOU don’t have to do it. Plenty of Websites do it for you.
Been doing a little research. I take fish oil, so that will be a good starter. I can than use that 10 dollars in register rewards to get something else. Do you have to use the whole 10 in register rewards at once? I assume so, also if I understand the other products I want that offer register rewards need to be purchased separately to get each register reward.
I may need to return some unopened Advil and cereal I just bought as it looks like I can get them with the register reward money and then get some more register reward money.
I think I’m starting to get the hang of it.
The easiest thing to do is “ping-ponging.” If there are two items of equal register rewards you can buy them back and forth. Ping-Pong! Left-Right! One-Two!
Remember, everybody, I sometimes have secret code in The Coupon Whisperer posts that when deciphered reveal INCREDIBLE deals so read the posts carefully. The crazier the message, the more likely a secret code is contained within.
I am saying that there is a SHOCKINGLY good deal at Walgreens this week that all of you seem to be missing. Perhaps the deal is encoded in The Coupon Whisperer message I posted above. If you can decipher the code, please DON’T reveal the deal so that everybody will empty the shelves before the more savvy of us can stock up bigtime. Keep it to yourselves until AFTER this Saturday when the deal is over.
Decipher the secret code in this latest edition of The Coupon Whisperer and you will have a BEYOND BELIEF shopping experience this week.
Add me to your ping list, please?

I had a hard time finding papers this weekend and after I found some, the item had been cleared off the shelf of several Walgreens in my area. Waiting a few days till their weekly delivery comes in, hopefully bringing the sold out product.
Thank you, dear Coupon Juggernaut. The Coupon Masters don’t need rehab. They require support from the rest of us so that they can encourage favorable policies for the citizens.
Our Walgreens is still under construction. Hopefully it will be finished soon. Right now the closest is 45 minutes away. A couple of questions: Do I have to sign up for a Walgreens card to scan to get RR? Also, can I stack manufacturers coupons, store coupons, and $/$ coupons at Walgreens? Thanks!
No, mainly because there are NO longer any Walgreens cards.
Also, can I stack manufacturers coupons, store coupons, and $/$ coupons at Walgreens?
Yes. In fact I did that MANY times today. My last deal of the day was scoring another bottle of Omega 3 Factor pills PLUS two DiGiorno Supreme pizzas...all for only a little over a buck.

Awesome! I’ve been checking out CVS and Walgreen’s ads, and it seems that Walgreens is a little better. This Friday will be my first mega-couponing/bonus cash experience. From the few times I’ve been in CVS I know that there is a very nasty cashier. I’ll have to find the CVS policy, print it, and take it with me.
WOO! HOO! In just a few days The Coupon Whisperer PING List has EXPLODED to the BIG ONE OH-OH.

Here’s a tricky one(for me at least)
A store has candy bars on sale buy 2 get 1 free
I have 3 coupons for the same candy bars buy 1 get 1 free
What would be my optimum buy? 9?
If anyone wants to do the Colonaide deal there is a 5.00 coupon that gets this to a cheap price but not free.
It ends up being 4.99 plus tax if you are taxed in your state. I don’t do many deals like this because they cost me money - I view RR’s as money - but I still will buy one of these just to try it out...even though that is 4.99 that I am not getting back.
