Unfortunately, the caller also referred to “Universal Health Care” as “wonderful.”

I just watched “Canadian Bacon” last night. I had never known that it was written and directed by Michael Moore-on.

In it, even HE made fun of Canadian healthcare when they determined that Honey was not eligible to see an actual doctor for 11 years

Actually this has created a new field of legal jobs for lawyers. Right now, public health law is training it's future lawyers to become advocates for treatment. If Obamacare becomes a reality, you'll need to hire a lawyer to seek medical treatment beyond asprin, or end of life care.

If you want or need medical treatment, you'll need representation. The result will be that every procedure will stem from a court order.

During the whole debate for universal health coverage, the horror stories about insurance companies denying treatment were told over and over. I do believe, however, that many procedures have to be done in a timely matter or it won’t matter. For example, while cancer is raging through someone’s body, will they have to wait 3 months, 6 months or longer for their “case” to be heard in order to have surgery or chemo/radiation? That time period is a death sentence either way. IMHO

It's a matter of earnings potential for the government.

If you're paying ten large to the taxman every year and you're under 50yrs, you'll get treatment. If you're under age 10 or over 50, you're going to get the recurring theme of end of life care every time you visit the doctor.

Being represented by a lawyer will get you on the rocket docket of care. The above demographics will still apply however unless you're a community organizer. The healthcare lawyer just also specializes in wills and estate planning.

“denying treatment” is a subtle misnomer.

What you’re talking about is actually insurance companies “denying payment”.

Under “universal healthcare”, even those who could afford to pay themselves won’t be able to receive treatment.

Geez, maybe there is hope for a verbose loudmouth liberal such as Rosie, if she learned something which gave her pause about the utopia of universal healthcare in Canada.

I remember reading, right here on FR, that countries with universal health care have only about 92-93% enrollment. This means that “universal” health care isn't.

The free market health care system we had before ObamaCare, covered about 85% of our population. So...the question that needs to be asked is, “Is it worth trillions of dollars of our hard earned money, in this type of economy, to cover an additional 7 to 8% of our population?”

Of course the answer is that this isn't about health care, but about control, however, if we continue to ask our lawmakers to answer this question, enough times, it may get some traction with help make people aware of the scam that is ObamaCare.

I stand corrected. You are correct. You can still get treatment if you pay for it. Universal healthcare stops treatment when they choose to. Thanks.

My suggestion for Rosie O’Dumbass is for her to have her mouth sewn shut. That way she can lose weight, and we won't have to listen to her stupidity anymore.
