We never entered [politics] believing that we were taking our lives in our hands...we're feeding anger, hatred, and division for quite a while. Maybe it is time for elected officials and leaders in this country that have been feeding that disease to realize that there are consequences to it. I hope people stop and think that we can be opponents, but we don't have to be deadly enemies...to demonize another person because of a disagreement and to make them expendible is not a democracy, it's not the America I know.IOW, he's been lurking on FR and/or other conservative sites -- we've all been saying that for decades in person and many years online. So, what does he do (and Juan Williams did the same mealy-mouthed thing on Fox this morning)? He immediately ups the ante and assigns blame to people he disagrees with. In the 1980s the pro-AIDS liberals were holding public lynch meetings to demonize President Ronald Reagan. And so for that matter were lots of other leftist hate groups over other narrow issues.
