Palin, Beck, Tea Party are not responsible for Giffords shooting
examiner.com ^ | 1/8/2011 | Joe Newby

Let's get one thing straight.

Glenn Beck, Sarah Palin, Rush Limbaugh and the Tea Party are not responsible for the shooting of Arizona Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords.

In fact, the only person responsible is the nut who allegedly pulled the trigger. "Alleged", because that person is now in police custody awaiting trial, and in this country a person is innocent until proven guilty.

Unless you happen to be a conservative who disagrees with Barack Obama.

Liberal media pundits are turning themselves inside out blaming everyone to the right of Joseph Stalin, just as they did after the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing.

Keith Olbermann attacked everyone at Fox News, and demanded Beck apologize for his rhetoric.

A reporter at CNN laid the blame at Sarah Palin for rhetoric that "allowed this kind of thing to happen."

Ignoring the entire eight years of the Bush Presidency, Eugene Robinson of the Washington Post made the ludicrous claim that "violent" rhetoric comes exclusively from the right.

Paul Krugman tried to lay the blame on Sarah Palin and her use of a target graphic.

A CBS report furthers the lunatic idea that Palin is responsible for the shooting because of the image of a target.

The Associated Press did the same thing, according to a post at Newsbusters.

Instead of looking at the background of the alleged shooter, the Democrat-media complex is hell bent on demonizing any critic of any Democrat as being responsible somehow for the tragedy in Arizona. According to the left, anyone who watches Fox News had a hand in the shooting.

Really getting tired of the "right is violent" rhetoric. This is exactly what led to the camps of Nazi Germany.

We need to start demanding answers as to why the left can’t produce video of Beck, Palin and others calling for violence. And we need to demand answers as to why they don’t show the growing pile of videos of leftists openly calling for violence.

I guess you always have to look at who benefits from an action if you want to take a guess at who may be responsible.

But what about the person arrested for the attack?

Tom Blumer of Newsbusters writes:

Never mind that the person who allegedly shot Arizona Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords and murdered several others, Jared Loughner, is reportedly a marijuana-using loner who lists the Communist Manifesto and Mein Kampf as among his favorite books, or that the most recent items which could bee seen as potential incitements to violence against Giffords have come from the left, in response to her refusal to back Nancy Pelosi for Minority Leader in the House just days ago.

Doing the work the lazy liberal media refuses to do, Blumer continues:

• Here’s a link (partial screen grab here for when it comes down; corroborated by Tyler Durden at Zero Hedge) to Laughner’s YouTube profile.
• Here’s a screen grab of a DailyKos post from Thursday entitled “My CongressWOMAN voted against Nancy Pelosi And is mow DEAD to Me!” Charming. Michelle Malkin notes that the post has been pulled. The post’s author has left a comment stating: “i now am FULL of guilt after writing this diary. i am a proud atheist, so pray for yourself, not me. i don’t need prayers, nor want them.”
• It didn’t take me long to find this comment at another “progressive” forum, where proprietor “Booman” travels into the realm of desiring thuggery: “Here’s a list of disloyal jerkoff Democrats who didn’t vote for Pelosi as Minority Leader ... I hope Pelosi crushes these idiots and makes their lives miserable. I’m not kidding.”

Can the media be trusted after this? Hardly.

If liberals like Olbermann and Krugman had their way, conservatives would be stripped of their citizenship and tossed in concentration camps. Their words and actions are eerily reminiscent of certain 20th century European tyrants.

But if they want to play this game, fine.

In September 2010, a Florida man was sentenced to more than two years in prison for threatening a Republican Congresswoman. He admitted to the judge he watched too much MSNBC.

By the media’s so-called “logic”, Olbermann, Schultz, Maddow and Matthews are all responsible for the threat, not the man who actually did it.

But since the target was a Republican, no outcry was heard from anyone in the media.

Michelle Malkin has a rundown of the hate liberals expressed over George W. Bush, including a movie about the assassination of the President.

Where was Olbermann’s outrage over that?

Conservatives need to stand strong and push back against the despicable, slanderous lies of the mainstream press.

Glenn Beck did not pull the trigger. Neither did Sarah Palin, Rush Limbaugh, or the Tea Party.

Conservative rhetoric or political campaign ads did not kill a 9-year-old girl and a federal Judge.

If Olbermann and Company want reasonable dialog, they can start by toning down their own hateful rhetoric.

If they want to play that game, then we can lay 9/11 at the feet of the Cultural Marxists/Nazis.

Well considering two of his “favorite” books are Mein Kampf and The Communist Manifesto, I think we all know which side of the aisle this nut identified wit.

Im really hoping people start standing up here this insane. I want Krauthammer to come out, George Will, Rove and Dana Perino and say this has nothing to do with Sarah Palin or the Tea Party and I am serious.

Thank God for the Web. If anything, it makes it so easy to find out the truth when it comes to the BS put out by the Ministry of Information state-run media.

That needs to be coming from the mouth of the marxist in chief, not holding my breath though.

Now if Palin said it, that would be a landmark moment in American political discourse.

Lets not forget as well that the LEFTIST PSYCHO that did this is a self admitted homosexual who was denied entry into military service.

In short, he demonstrates that he is every thing other than a right wing Republican, and that its high time we start looking at homosexuals like Loughner, Pfc. Bradley Manning, and Barney Frank as threats to public safety and national security.

This presumption is a legal one for the jury. Not one for the court of public opinion.

Because there's no doubt as to the shooter's identity, it is nonsensical to use the word "alleged." A = A. Why pretend otherwise?

If one followed the author's rationale, one would have to say "alleged socialist" to describe B. Hussein Obama because he hasn't been adjudicated as such.

Ridiculous.

If those of us on the right are so violent, then why is it that the left always seem to the be the violent trouble makers at rallies? Hypocrisy forms the very bedrock of the left. Do as I say, not as I do.

The leftist, pro-Obama terrorist (self admitted)
was undoubtedly programmed by ABC, CNN, KOS
and the very same LSM and MSM propaganda sites
that blame others.

Is there any wonder why the Obama administration wants
to shut down the Internet?

More recently, in a series of videos he posted on YouTube,
Mr. Loughner, now 22 years old, rages against the government
and the constitution and refers to himself as a "terrorist."
