Jared Loughner is a disgusting person. He murdered six people in cold blood, including a little girl and a federal judge. He shot a member of Congress in the head, before continuing to wildly shoot into a crowd of innocent people. He must be condemned and rejected.
The National Organization for Women (NOW for short) has a different approach. Instead of condemning Loughner outright, they are using his senseless acts as political hay, equating conservatives to his hateful rampage and blaming the deaths of innocent people on figures like Sarah Palin.
The very same day that Loughner unleashed a barrage of bullets into a crowd, before it was even known who even committed this atrocity, NOW decided to blame the right for these crimes. Quickly releasing a statement, NOW President Terry O'Neill released the statement below:
"NOW condemns the tragic shooting of Rep. Gabrielle Giffords (D-Ariz.) that stole six lives and seriously injured 12 today. We condemn, equally, the culture of hate and violence increasingly reflected in extreme right-wing opponents of those who support progressive solutions to our country's challenges...
Giffords, whose office was vandalized after she voted for the federal health care reform law last year, was also named on Sarah Palin's "Targeted" list. Giffords (who has been consistently endorsed by NOW's PAC) herself understood the not-so-well veiled threat, stating "the thing is that the way she [Palin] has it depicted, we're in the crosshairs of a gun sight over our district. When people do that, they've got to realize that there are consequences to that action..."
Conservatives cannot have it both ways, screaming sexist, racist and homophobic slurs at legislators as they vote for health care reform, putting legislators on a violence-inciting "Targets" list, and then simply saying how sorry they are when someone explodes into murder."

Like ignoring(=condoning) sharia law? Islam should be their number one "target", well.. abortion should be #1. At least try to make a contribution somewhere in society, instead of promoting no consequences for unnatural acts.
Cripes, this group is spiteful, vindictive, morally corrupt and totally stupid. They claim to want to solve the countrys' "challenges" that they created. No more NOW would help considerably.
NOW still exists? Who knew. If they were still a force of any kind maybe they would be speaking out about the horrible murders and violence against women in “honor killings” and that nonsense.
So they and the rest of the vast left wing conspiracy have sought to politicize this whole thing. It will backfire on them. With luck Tea Party candidates will raise millions by reminding Americans of the putrid rhetoric coming from the left. They can spew their venom now but it will come back to haunt them.
NOW = national organization of witches. There ought to be a law against covens.
