Thank You Inner City Democrat Leaders

Recently, I was having a conversation with a friend on the Democrat Party and the whole entitlement mentality it’s created in its voters. My friend’s wife, whom we’ll call Mrs. Strong, wanted to personally thank inner city Democrat leaders for the destruction of the black family, and for all of the misery that they have caused blacks in America. Mrs. Strong thought, “Why not write a letter and express a heartfelt thanks for their efforts in denigrating the black community in America?”

This, of course, was a fantastic idea, and I thought I’d undertake this herculean task of conveying Mrs. Strong’s sincere thanks for a job well done.

Dear Inner City Democrat Leaders,

I would like to thank you for the almost irreparable harm that you have done to blacks in America. Your vision and insight into the black community began with Daniel Patrick Moynihan in 1965. Since then, you have not looked back in your unabashed efforts in the destruction of the black family. Your efforts to create victims and entitlement-minded communities in the inner city deserve the loudest of applauses.

The level of crime and education among blacks coincides with the destruction of the black nuclear family. The results of the negligence of liberalism towards black America can best be summed up by Dr. Thomas Sowell in his article, Liberals, race, and history,’ saying, “Not only must the present be distorted, so must the past — and any alternative view of the future must be nipped in the bud. That is why prominent minority figures who stray from the liberal plantation must be discredited, debased and, above all, kept from becoming federal judges.”

Before the destruction of nuclear black families, black families enjoyed a two-person household. This included a post-slave black family, a time when critics argue that the dissolution of the black family is due in large part to slavery. But that argument just doesn’t hold water, or according to Dr. Walter E. Williams in 1880 in Philadelphia, three-quarters of black families enjoyed a two-parent household, as well as in New York in 1925. So what happened to the black family? How could families hold together so closely in a time of much more segregation and discrimination? Because, as Dr. Williams suggests, there was no welfare or Great Society programs.

Liberalism is the great divider. Rather than improve lives, it destroys them, and so liberalism was able to weave its hooks into the black community and the family through Moynihan. The next stop was education. Liberalism wouldn’t rest until it had given blacks an “equal” education. Instead, all it did was to destroy education in America for blacks. In Detroit, some of the worst public schools in America, blacks score lower on national tests than in other cities throughout the nation.

Education is a means to escape poverty, but in the black community there is no escape from poverty—unless a person wishes to be a gang banger, and with the money rolling in without education, who then needs an education? This only provides opportunities for imprisonment and black on black crimes—an appalling statistic verified by the U.S. Justice Department in 2001.

Liberalism has been a disaster for blacks. It’s a wonder that blacks have even survived the Democrat Party at all. For more than fifty years, it has waged a war on the black family and education. And the seeds it has planted has been those of crime, poverty and misery, resulting in the destruction of the black community. It isn’t irreversible, but it will take a concerted effort to change the mindset of the black community in total. They must embrace liberty—a liberty that began under a Republican president in 1863, and must continue to grow under the current Republicans in the House of Representatives in 2011. Blacks must decide that America is as much a part of them as they are of it. They must rebuke liberalism and the Democrat Party.

So I want to personally thank the Democrat Party for destroying the black family. I want to thank you for the lack of education, the fifty percent dropout rate, and the gangs. I also want to thank you for the high prison populations of blacks, the lack of safe neighborhoods and the general lack of productive black citizens. In the 1950s and 1960s, there were more black PHDs, more black business owners, more two parent families and higher graduation rates. But today, blacks have become a symbol of how destructive the Democrat Party can be. And we have you to thank for it.

My deepest and most sincere thanks,

Mrs. Strong

Blaming the Democrap party for systematic destruction of the Black Family through their targeted welfare and social engineering? Sounds like something an “Uncle Tom” would say.....

Nevermind all those brilliant points made in the letter above, nothing to see here.... Gotta get back to bringing socialism to the ignorant dumb mases.

Easily predictable, given the "Big Picture":
The Democrat party has been the Party of Slavery™ since its founding two centuries ago.

At that time, Southern plantation owners used people of African ancestry to convert cotton seeds into cotton bales to enhance their economic power.

Today, 200 years later, keepers of the Big-City Urban Plantations use people of African ancestry to convert (other peoples) dollars into votes to enhance their political power.

The comments about Daniel Patrick Moynihan are completely wrong! He was the one who predicted all these problems in his epic work for the senate.

The Dems ignored him.

I disagree. I think the Dems got the picture entirely and the black community became a social experiment.

What about the NFL?

If we're talking about 1 out of a 100, yeah. Otherwise, on a large scale, that won't quite work.

What about the NFL?

The National Felons League? Same as the National Brotherhood of Assailants ... he already mentioned being a gang banger.

Can't you ever say anything nice? It's a technique used to portray writing within writing. I think I'm going to cry now. I hate you, hate you, hate you. LOL!

Thanks for reading. I appreciate it.
