Sick liberals on Twitter express desire to see Sarah Palin dead, media yawns

Ever since the tragic shooting of Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords, liberals have sought to blame Sarah Palin and the Tea Party for the attack.

Shortly after the shooting, Jane Fonda sent out tweets blaming Sarah Palin, Glenn Beck and the Tea Party.

Encouraged by irresponsible and shameful reporting, a number of twitter users have expressed their desire to see Sarah Palin dead, and some tweets actually call for her assassination.

“So…will everyone be satisfied then when Palin is assassinated? You know she’s next,” writes one twitter user.

According to a report at The Blaze, some are downright vulgar:

“Palin is a murdering bi*** who deserves a crosshair on HER house so Al-Qaeda can come shoot HER family. See how that feels, republican trash.”

But according to the mainstream media, this type of rhetoric only comes from the right. So far, no one in the media has mentioned these attacks.

Hatred of the Palins is nothing new. Conservative columnist Michelle Malkin highlights some of the insane hatred - which has been dubbed "Palin Derangement Syndrome" - directed at Palin since she was selected by John McCain as his Vice Presidential running mate.

Members of her family have come under similar attacks.

Bristol Palin was savaged during and after her appearance on Dancing with the Stars, and Kathy Griffin recently said she was targeting 16-year-old Willow Palin in 2011.

Where is the media? Where are the authorities? Do they see nothing nothing wrong with the threats and mindless attacks?

Instead of engaging in "ideological warfare", pundits like Ed Schultz should be calling on their base to focus on issues and stop the mindless hate.

Sick. I thought this kind of thing was illegal. Guess it doesn't apply to conservatives.

Jane Fonda (spit).

What a contemptable creature.

Traitor who supported the enemy of America, who had her picture taken on the seat of an anti-aircraft gun desiring to shoot down American heroes. For this useless chunk of communist scum to blame anyone for inflammatory rhetoric is the height of hypocrisy.

I have never heard the level of vitriol not even close coming from the right, that the left flings at anyone who disagrees with them. Talk about a hot bed for insighting violence...sheesh.

Fonda is still holding a grudge against America for the way America treated her hero, Ho Chi Minh. Ho is Fonda’s George Washington.

Answers the media uses for excusing hate speech against Palin:

1) They are PASSIONATE about their beliefs

2) It’s an expression of ‘word art’

3) You can’t judge a whole group because of what a few people say.

4) We support the exercise of the first amendment in this country!!!!!!!!!

5) Dissent is patriotic!!!

I have always wondered about that. When Bush was in office there were lots of idiots threatening his life and some in the media making movies and writing books about committing that act. As far as we know, the secret service did nothing. A cage fighter challenges obama to a fight and the secret service is all over it. Is the SS under the control of the office of the President or is it run by political hacks? Nothing against the agents, I know several and they are highly professional in their job.
Just askin.

The media isn’t yawning, it’s wearing a contented smile. This is exactly the response they intended to forment.

Original non-hate speech:

“So…will everyone be satisfied then when Palin is assassinated? You know she’s next,” writes one twitter user.

According to a report at The Blaze, some are downright vulgar:

“Palin is a murdering bi*** who deserves a crosshair on HER house so Al-Qaeda can come shoot HER family. See how that feels, republican trash.”

Now, let's change the target of the non-hate speech from "Palin" to "Obama" and see if it's still acceptable to the Left:

“So…will everyone be satisfied then when Obama is assassinated? You know he’s next,” writes one twitter user.

According to a report at The Blaze, some are downright vulgar:

“Obama is a murdering bi*** who deserves a crosshair on his house so Al-Qaeda can come shoot his family. See how that feels, democrat trash.”

The weekend Twitter posts should awaken everyone to the fact there are a lot more “loons” walking among us than we may have realized.

It’s certainly not comforting to know they could probably walk into a store and buy a Glock any day of the week.

Encouraging violence is only dangerous when others have to “nuance” one’s words to find anything that can be construed to encourage violence and it is violence only if it is directed against entities or concepts of the Left. Anything that the Left disagrees with is defined as “encouraging violence.” Killing and maiming entities on the right is not violence. It is righteous anger by oppressed people against their oppressors and entirely to be understood and sympathized with.

They are indeed blind, or perhaps just on a manipulative roll. However, it goes a tad too far to suggest that Governor Palin did "the very same thing;" she did not and, I think, would not.
