Officials at the U.S. Justice Department and Education Department say closer scrutiny of school discipline cases will be a high priority for 2011. The department announced it would use a “disparate-impact analysis” to help determine whether minority students are disproportionately punished at school.
“Regrettably, students of color are receiving different and harsher disciplinary punishments than whites for the same or similar infractions, and they are disproportionately impacted by zero-tolerance policies—a fact that only serves to exacerbate already deeply entrenched disparities in many communities,” said Thomas E. Perez, assistant attorney general for civil rights.

In today's atmosphere, I call this BS.
I was told by my child’s teacher (privately) a couple of months ago that they are no longer allowed to fail Hispanic students. I kid you not.
Not necessarily those executed.
On the other hand, the strong discipline that all of our schools demonstrate has led to very strong graduation rates, no bullying, high achievement ..... oh.. wait.
This is Eric Holder’s doing, and there’s more to come.
There was an almosy unnoticed story in 2009 about Holder’s plans to investigate a number of institutions to determine if minorities - meaning just blacks, of course - are discriminated against and “under-served.”
Gee, my guess is that Holder’s people will find that anti-black discrimination is rampant throughout every institution in the country and that the only way to solve it is to put these downtrodden ‘minorities’ in charge of the institutions. Holder had also said that he intends to sue any organization that was doing so.
And so there’s your reparations.

The only real solution is to encourage even more minorities to drop out of school.
