Oct 23 — On Wednesday, NBC News reported on a man who helped the Pentagon develop the Islamic chaplains program for the U.S. armed forces, a man who was later stopped with hundreds of thousands of dollars in his possession — and some serious questions about his background. Now there is more, and if federal prosecutors are right, this is a man who moved from the shadowy world of terrorism to the centers of power in Washington and back again.
FEDERAL PROSECUTORS HAVE indicted the FOUNDER OF THE ISLAMIC CHAPLAIN PROGRAM on charges he illegally dealt with Libya and laundered money. But there are even more serious allegations about him in some new documents.
ABDURAHMAN ALAMOUNDI, a consultant to the Pentagon on the chaplain program for more than a decade, is now accused of helping Osama bin Laden and Hamas.

It’s simply amazing that this man and his ilk had such power within our government. Did his choices for Islamic chaplains in the army filter down to the pre-meditated murders of our soldiers at Fort Hood?
I used them because they’ve done a good job in summarizing from a historical aspect. Most of them are certainly slanted left but the basic information is correct. And believe it or not I’ve found good reporting at the leftie sites Mother Jones and Rolling Stones.

Those ambassadors sure certainly very prophetical - guess ot wouldn’t have anything to do with their being in bed with the Muslim Brotherhood. The Clinton Admin. - State Depart. appear to favor the Muslim Brotherhood (just like the radical left extremists), Carter favored the Muslim Brotherhood in Iran - GH Bush hearted the Saudi. Zbigniew and Kissenger were key players. They also had hearts for the MB shiite Hamas. I wonder who they’ll pick as the 12th Immam when the time is right for them.

An FBI informant learned of a plan to bomb major New York landmarks, including the Holland and Lincoln tunnels. Disrupting this “landmarks plot,” the FBI in June 1993 arrested Rahman and various confederates.7

Sayyid Qutb - super big guy in the Muslim Brotherhood, and the Blind Sheikh was preaching his message aka the Muslim Brotherhood message and the Clinton Admin were in bed with them. Something wrong with that picture. Getting renewed visas, passports, citizenships never seem to be a problem for any of them. With the election of ultra-conservative Muhammad Badee as supreme leader, any change may just be further toward the extreme.
Last Saturday in Cairo, the Muslim Brotherhood announced that it had elected Muhammad Badee as its new supreme leader, a succession which comes at a critical time. A few months ago, Muhammad Mahdi Akef - who had ruled the organization for the past six years - stated that he would not seek another mandate, thus sparking a crisis of major proportions.
But the trouble had already been brewing for a while.
Akef has continually fomented outrage in Egypt with extremist pronouncements. Not only does he overtly support Hamas and Iran, a year ago he proclaimed that he would rather see a Malaysian Muslim as president of Egypt than an Egyptian Copt.
Furthermore, an increasingly large number of Brothers are clamoring for reforms within the group. When the old leader came to the conclusion that he could not bridge the gap between the hard-liners and the reformers, he decided it was finally time to step down.
The younger generation of members are yearning to shake the yoke of the old guard and democratize the movement, and have thus become increasingly restive. They had pinned their hopes on Akef’s second in command, Muhammad Elsayed Habib, but he resigned in protest at the Akef’s policies and subsequently lost his seat on the Guidance Council (the governing body) in December.
Their discontent was only aggravated during the subsequent elections. The elections themselves - both for the seats in the Guidance Council and for the post of supreme leader -stirred anger, as many believed that they had been rigged. However, since the Muslim Brotherhood is banned in Egypt, the vote was held in secrecy and was therefore not monitored. What is known is that Badee was elected by a two-thirds majority of the advisory council, and that his ascension spells trouble for reformists.
THE BROTHERHOOD is far from a democratic movement open to pluralistic views. It has remained faithful to the extremist religious doctrine of the man who founded it in Egypt in 1928, HASSAN el-BANNA, and of its greatest theologian, SAYYED QOTOB.
Qotob was far more controversial than Banna. He radicalized Banna’s doctrine - which called for the restoration of the caliphate and the creation of one single nation for all Muslims under the sovereignty of Allah, with the Koran as the constitution and Shari’a as the legal system - by declaring that all Arab societies lived in jahalia (ignorance of the true Islam) as before the coming of Muhammad, and were therefore “infidels.” The meaning of his statement was clear: that it was legitimate to fight such Arab societies in order to form the new caliphate. To make matters worse, he also formed the religious basis that justified attacking non-Muslim states to bring them into the fold of Islam.
This doctrine has been adopted today by all jihadist movements - al-Qaida included - and gives them the legitimacy they need to kill innocent civilians, Muslims and non-Muslims alike.

Tariq Ramadan and the Three Public Faces of Islam -
There is little understanding in the West of the stealth jihad pursued by the Muslim Brotherhood.

There are three images of Islam competing for space in the public mind.
One portrays Islam as a violent and predatory religious force seeking to overthrow the West by fire and sword. The standard bearers of this version are the orthodontic disasters we see in the media from time to time, screaming into the camera, hoisting placards promising death to America and setting bonfires in which American, British, and Israeli flags are reduced to char.
Another and more heraldic image depicts Islam as a noble and courageous faith, born in the harshest of environments, which it overcomes through the exercise of the manly virtues and a sense of heroic style mediated by the romantic aura of the flowing galabieh, a revered tradition, and elegant rituals of hospitality. We see this fetishizing of the Arab and his faith at its most flamboyant in T.E. Lawrence’s Seven Pillars of Wisdom, and at its most insidious in Robert Kaplan’s The Arabists.
The third and perhaps most pervasive mental icon of the faith today is that of a socially and spiritually liberating institution whose ancient pedigree is not only capable of doctrinal flexibility and modernization but offers a vision of stability and assurance in an increasingly chaotic world. The most conspicuous representative of this perception of Islam is Tariq Ramadan, an erudite, supple, and persuasive Western-tailored “intellectual” whose soothing rhetoric operates as an ideological narcotic. For in reality he is the most deceptive and oleaginous of Islam’s new breed of warrior, who penetrates our defenses from beneath our historical ramparts. In the words of French social critic Caroline Fourest, from her La tentation obscurantiste, “Tariq Ramadan est devenu un virtuose du désamorçage rhétorique et sémantique.” (“Tariq Ramadan has become a virtuoso of rhetorical and semantic defusing” — in the sense of downplaying a crisis.)
[TARIQ] RAMADAN’s grandfather HASSAN al-BANNA was the founder of the Muslim Brotherhood. HIS FATHER SAID founded the World Islamic League and later established the Islamic Center of Geneva, whose function was to bring Islam to the West. HIS BROTHER HANI CHAIRS THE BOARD.
As Robert Sibley writes in the Ottawa Citizen, “Normally, you don’t hold a man’s family against him. In Ramadan’s case, however, it is permissible because he makes so much of his heritage.” And this heritage encloses within its core the central principle of the grandfather, who believed, as Nick Cohen puts it in What’s Left?, that “only a restored and pure Islamic Caliphate could end the humiliation of the Arabs.” Al-BANNA THEN ORGANIZED “his followers into ‘falanges’ modeled on GENERAL FRANCO’s, and admiring HITLERS BROWN SHIRTS”
The crucial element in this campaign against the cultural integrity and, indeed, the ultimate survival of the West is the subterranean agenda of the Muslim Brotherhood, which since its formation in the Egyptian city of ISMAILIA in 1928, has been at the source of internecine violence, assassinating two prime ministers, Mahmoud Fahmi Nokrashi and Anwar Sadat — in the latter case, via its offshoot Islamic Jihad, despite its verbal renunciation of violence in 1970. The Brotherhood’s emblem is a Koran with crossed swords. In an interview reported by the Middle East Research Institute (MEMRI), in the organization’s General Guide, MUHAMMAD MAHDI AKEF, who resigned in 2010 (to be replaced by the equally hard-core MUHAMMAD BADEE), affirmed that “the movement supports martyrdom operations in Palestine and Iraq in order to expel the Zionists and the Americans.”
Those who try to launder the Brotherhood’s infusorial project might be advised to study its 1991 memorandum, the “General Strategic Goal for the Group in North America,” which proposed a “CIVILIZATION-JIHADIST PROCESS” and stated that Muslims “must understand that their work in America is a kind of grand Jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and sabotaging its miserable house.”
The Brotherhood recommends different modalities of action: violence where effective, infiltration where appropriate. In the first case, one need only consult well-attested reports of a document called “THE PROJECT,” discovered in the home of YOUSSEF NADA, DIRECTOR OF THE AL-TAQA BANK in LUGANO, SWITZERLAND, which recommended a revival of terrorist activities and announced the 1987 creation of HAMAS. A recent book by AZZAM TAMINI, a London-based member of the organization, entitled Hamas: A History, is REPLETE WITH PERTINENT DETAILS SHOWING THE CONNECTION BETWEEN THE BROTHERHOOD AND HAMAS. Indeed, HAMAS WAS ONCE KNOWN AS THE GAZA BRANCH OF THE MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD. The Hamas Covenant, or Mithaq, itself states that “the Islamic Resistance Movement is one of the wings of Muslim Brotherhood in Palestine” and that the Brotherhood is characterized by “its complete embrace of all Islamic concepts of all aspects of life … and conversion to Islam.”
IN THE SECOND CASE, the Brotherhood has become expert at what we might call a new variety of ideological phishing, hacking into the majority culture with a view to gaining control of its “operating programs.” Here it does not state its goals openly, practicing the time-honored strategy of taqiyyah, deriving from Koranic surahs 16:106 and 3:28; that is, the dissimulation of one’s true beliefs and convictions in times of peril. What constitutes a time of peril clearly allows for considerable latitude of interpretation.
THERE SEEMS TO BE LITTLE UNDERSTANDING IN THE WEST OF THE STEALTH JIHAD PURSUED BY THE MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD AND ITS MULPIPLE OFFSHOOTS, EXEMPLIFIED BY THE SWELTE RUMINATIONS OF WESTERN-SEEMING ISLAMIC INTELLECTUALS SUCH AS TARIQ RAMADAN who work like sappers beneath a mantlet of calming assurances and exquisite manners. In entertaining such cultural underminers as Ramadan, we have simply moved the adversary’s clock forward. This form of continental drift, both theological and demographic, should no longer come as a great surprise. “Europe and America are pregnant with Islam. One day they will give birth to an Islamic state.” Nursi dedicated himself to reviving a slumbering and decadent Islamic world, projecting his vision of hope and change for the future.
Nursi’s writings repay consulting, if only because they prefigure the themes addressed by Ramadan. Nursi believed that, in the course of time, Christianity, “following the Qur’an … will unite with Islam.” Confirming Nursi’s prophecy, in a BBC interview on February 7, 2008, ANGLICAN PRIMATE ROWAN WILLIAMS argued in favor of recognizing certain aspects of shari’a law, which in any case “seems unavoidable,” and that Muslims should not have to choose between “the stark alternatives of cultural loyalty or state loyalty.” The capitulation is well advanced.
For Ramadan, Islam will, amoeba-like, absorb the West. Given our PAVLOVIAN RESPONSE to the muezzin’s call, we are making the job all the easier by our apparent agreement and practical collaboration. It has become an Islam dunk. What is now happening in Europe and America is the movement of the future and a tragic denouement to a play that has lost its direction and raison d’être. A “new” and far more vigorous historical force is gradually but inexorably replacing a tired, self-indulgent, and oblivious civilization that appears — to use Arnold Toynbee’s formulation — to have no response to the challenge which confronts it. And the challenge is most effectively posed by the ophidian subtlety of de facto spokesmen for the Muslim Brotherhood such as Tariq Ramadan.
As ARABIST ERIC ORMSBY writes in Standpoint, reviewing Ramadan’s Radical Reform: Islamic Ethics and Liberation:
To make matters worse, more than once in Radical Reform, he respectfully cites the infamous YUSUF al-QARADAWI … who issued the fatwa to HAMAS legitimating suicide bombing. For all his emollient slogans, Ramadan remains the grandson of Hassan al-Banna, founder of the Muslim Brotherhood, and the son and brother of two of that movement’s most virulent ideologues. With Ramadan, one always has the uneasy sense that ‘the hard men’ are standing nearby, in the shadows of his suavity.
Ramadan has revived the project of his grandfather, but with a twist. His “falanges” are lieutenants like his Swiss compatriot SALAH BASALAMA, double-jointed propagandists wearing not brown shirts but Brunello Cucinelli lavender luster. We should make no mistake about this: they are carrying out the same agenda. And the “hard men” in keffiyehs are waiting patiently in the wings.
This is why he was banned from entering this country, that is, until the Obama administration. Hillary Clinton revoked the ban.

Christopher Caldwell: On Tariq Ramadan’s “Resistance”
I’ve previously tried to figure out what the Swiss Islamic thinker Tariq Ramadan truly stands for since one hears all sorts of things about him, and Christopher Caldwell offers an intriguing suggestion in Reflections of the Revolution in Europe:
The word RESISTANCE is the master key to Ramadan’s thinking. It is the foundation of everything else about Ramadan that can be understood doubly. The word appears almost constantly in all of Ramadan’s most important writings and speeches.
He notes that “in my family, RESISTANCE was a key concept, RESISTANCE against dictatorship or colonialism.” RESIST is not a democratic verb, in the way that reform or dissent or oppose is. It is a REVOLUTIONARY VERB. RESISTANCE is what one offers against a system that has no legitimacy whatsoever behind it.
The French reformed their constitutional order in 1958; they RESISTED the Nazis after 1942 . . . . Contemporary Europeans, unable to conceive of themselves as thoroughly without legitimacy in anyone’s eyes, have chosen to believe that when Ramadan speaks of “RESISTANCE,” and calls on Muslims everywhere to wage it, he really means “reform.” He does not. HE MEANS JIHAD... (pages 294-295)

Late 1980s and After: CIA Blocks Investigations into Al-Qaeda’s ‘Operational Headquarters’ in US

[Source: Robert Maass / Corbis]In the late 1980s, Osama bin Laden and his mentor Abdullah Azzam are running a charity front called Maktab al-Khidamat (MAK)/Al-Kifah in Peshawar, Pakistan, and it has an important branch in Brooklyn, New York, called the Al-Kifah Refugee Center that is sending money and recruits to fight in Afghanistan. The CIA apparently helps the Al-Kifah Brooklyn office send up to 200 people from the US to fight in Afghanistan (see 1986-1993). Many of them are US citizens.
ZALMAY KHALILZAD, a State Department Afghan specialist who will go on to become a prominent neoconservative, will later deny knowing of any Arab-Americans fighting with the mujaheddin. But one anonymous Congressional aide will recall occasional mentions of Al-KIFAH Refugee Center or its head MUSTAFA SHALABI by some of the most radical mujaheddin. He says, “Among that cabal, the extreme militant fringes, Shalabi was known.… [T]hey were asking to talk to him so he could organize some particular assistance.” THE NEUTRALITY ACT PREVENTS US CITIZENS FROM FIGHTING AGAINST COUNTRIES NOT AT WAR WITH THE US, but the New York Times will later note, “Yet there is no sign that a criminal investigation ever took place even though Federal agents had come across broad hints about the center’s activities when they investigated the [Meir] Kahane assassination [in 1990 (see November 5, 1990) and the slaying of Mr. Shalabi [in 1991]” (see (February 28, 1991)). Kahane’s assassin, El Sayyid Nosair, was one of Shalabi’s assistants. [New York Times, 4/11/1993]
Apparently the CIA’s ties to the Al-Kifah Refugee Center prevent other US agencies from investigating it, even after the 1993 WTC bombing when all of the bombers are found to have been tied to the center. WHILE AL-KIFAH CLOSES ITSELF DOWN SHORTLY AFTER THE WTC BOMBING, IT IMMEDIATELY REOPENS IN BOSTON UNDER A DIFFERENT NAME and continues to publish the same newsletter and post from the same website (see April 1993-Mid-2003).
The New Yorker will later comment,
“[W]hen the fanatical fervor [the CIA] whipped up leads to unintended consequences - the assassination of a Jewish militant leader in Manhattan,
the bombing of the World Trade Center,
a terror conspiracy to blow up the Holland and Lincoln Tunnels and other Manhattan landmarks -
[the CIA tried] to discourage local law enforcement agencies and the FBI from looking into the matter too deeply.”
After Nosair assassinates Kahane, THE FBI TELLS DISTRICT ATTORNEY ROBERT MORGENTHAU THAT NOSAIR WAS A LONE GUNMAN, not part of a broader conspiracy. HOWEVER, the FBI had truckloads of evidence connecting to Al-Kifah strongly suggesting otherwise that it does not closely investigate.
The FBI also blocks him from tying Sheikh Omar Abdul-Rahman to the WTC bombing (see After February 26, 1993). Morgenthau will later speculate the CIA may have encouraged the FBI not to pursue any other leads. “The FBI lied to me. They’re supposed to untangle terrorist connections, but they can’t be trusted to do the job.” [New Yorker, 3/17/1995]
In 1994, a secret internal CIA report will conclude that the agency is “PARTIALLY CULPABLE” for the WTC bombing because of its support for radicals connected to Al-Kifah.
One CIA source will say, “By giving these people the funding that we did, a situation was created in which it could be safely argued that we bombed the World Trade Center” (see January 24, 1994).
BUT EVEN AFTER 1994 ...there is little evidence that the links from Al-Kifah were carefully explored by any US government agency. For instance, the government will not freeze Al-Kifah’s funds until shortly after 9/11, long after it ceased to exist (see September 24, 2001).

July 1989: FBI Monitors Future Bombers Weapons Training Sessions; Fail to Follow Up -
FBI agents photograph Islamic radicals shooting weapons at the Calverton Shooting Range, on Long Island, New York. The group is secretly monitored as they shoot AK-47 assault rifles, semiautomatic handguns, and revolvers for four successive weekends. The use of weapons such as AK-47’s are illegal in the US, but this shooting range is known to be unusually permissive. ALI MOHAMED is apparently not at the range but has been training the five men there: El Sayyid Nosair, Mahmud Abouhalima, Mohammed Salameh, Nidal Ayyad, and Clement Rodney Hampton-El. NOSAIR WILL ASSASSINATE RABBI MEIR KAHANE ONE YEAR LATER (see November 5, 1990), and THE OTHERS except for Hampton-El WILL BE CONVICTED OF THE 1993 WORLD TRADE CENTER BOMBING (see February 26, 1993), while Hampton-El will be convicted for a role in the “Landmarks” bombing plot (see June 24, 1993).
Some FBI agents have been assigned to watch some Middle Eastern men who are frequenting the Al-Kifah Refugee Center in Brooklyn. Each weekend, Mohamed’s trainees drive from Al-Kifah to the shooting range, and a small FBI surveillance team follows them. The FBI has been given a tip that some Palestinians at Al-Kifah are planning violence targeting Atlantic City casinos. By August, the casino plot fails to materialize, and the surveillance, including that at the shooting range, comes to an end.
Author Peter Lance will later say that why the FBI failed to follow up the shooting sessions is a “great unanswered question.” [Lance, 2003, pp. 29-33; New York Times, 10/5/2003]

July 1990: ’Blind Sheikh’ Enters US Despite Being on Terrorist Watch List, Takes Over Al-Kifah
Despite being on a US terrorist watch list for three years, radical Muslim leader Sheikh Omar Abdul-Rahman enters the US on a “much-disputed” tourist visa issued by an undercover CIA agent. [Village Voice, 3/30/1993; Atlantic Monthly, 5/1996; Lance, 2003, pp. 42]
Abdul-Rahman was heavily involved with the CIA and Pakistani ISI efforts to defeat the Soviets in Afghanistan, and became famous traveling all over the world for five years recruiting new fighters for the Afghan war. The CIA gave him visas to come to the US starting in 1986 (see December 15, 1986-1989). HOWEVER, HE NEVER DID HIDE HIS PRIME GOALS TO OVERTHROW THE GOVERNMENTS OF THE US AND EGYPT. FBI agent Tommy Corrigan WILL LATER SAY THAT PRIOR TO ABDUL-RAHMAN’S ARRIVAL, “TERRORISM FOR ALL INTENTS AND PURPOSES DIDN’T EXIST IN THE UNITED STATES. But [his] arrival in 1990 really stoke the flames of terrorism in this country. This was a major-league ballplayer in what at the time was a minor-league ballpark. He was… looked up to worldwide. A MENTOR TO bin LADEN, he was involved with the MAK over in Pakistan.” The charity front Maktab al-Khidamat (MAK) is also known as Al-Kifah, and it has a branch in Brooklyn known as the Al-Kifah Refugee Center. The head of that branch, MUSTAFA SHALABI, picks up Abdul-Rahman at the airport when he first arrives and finds an apartment for him. Abdul-Rahman soon begins PREACHING at Al Farouq mosque, which is in the same building as the Al-Kifah office, PLUS TWO OTHER LOCAL MOSQUES, Abu Bakr and Al Salaam. He is “infamous throughout the Arab world for his alleged ROLE IN THE ASSASSINATION OF EGYPTIAN PRESIDENT ANWAR SADAT.” Abdul-Rahman immediately begins setting up a militant Islamic network in the US. For the next two years, Abdul-Rahman WILL CONTINUE TO EXIT AND REENTER THE US WITHOUT BEING STOPPED OR DEPORTED, even though he is still on the watch list (see Late October 1990-October 1992).
The Times Square bomber was also on a watch list and was also able to exit and reenter with no apparent problems. Post the attempted bombing he was able to get on the ‘plane to the ME. It was the great work of the NYC COPS who tracked him down and stopped him. I’m sure that didn’t make the CIA too happy!

In July 1990, the “Blind Sheikh,” Sheikh Omar Abdul-Rahman, was MYSTERIOUSLY ABLE TO ENTER THE US AND REMAIN THERE DESPITE BEING A WELL-KNOWN PUBLIC FIGURE AND BEING ON A WATCH LIST FOR THREE YEARS. (see July 1990).
In late October 1990, he travels to London, so he is OUT OF THE US when one of his followers assassinates the Zionist rabbi Meir Kahane on November 5, 1990 (see November 5, 1990). He RETURNS TO THE US IN MID-NOVEMBER UNDER THE NAME “Omar Ahmed Rahman” AND AGAIN HAS NO TROUBLE getting back in despite still being on the WATCH LIST. [Washington Post, 7/13/1993]
The State Department revokes his US visa on November 17 after the FBI informs it that he is in the US. [New York Times, 12/16/1990]
In December 1990, Abdul-Rahman LEAVES THE US AGAIN to attend an Islamic conference in Copenhagen, Denmark. He returns nine days later and again has no trouble reentering, despite not even having a US visa at this point. [Washington Post, 7/13/1993]
On December 16, 1990, the New York Times publishes an article titled, “Islamic Leader on US Terrorist List Is in Brooklyn,” which makes his presence in the US publicly known. The Immigration and Nationalization Service (INS) is said to be investigating WHY HE HAS NOT BEEN DEPORTED ALREADY. [New York Times, 12/16/1990]
Yet in April 1991, the INS APPROVES HIS APPLICATION FOR PERMANENT RESIDENCE.
He then LEAVES THE US AGAIN in June 1991 to go on the religious hajj to Mecca, Saudi Arabia, and returns on July 31, 1991. INS OFFICIALS IDENTIFY HIM COMING IN, BUT LET HIM IN ANYWAY. [New York Times, 4/24/1993; Washington Post, 7/13/1993]
In June 1992, his APPLICATION FOR POLITICAL ASYLUM WILL BE TURNED DOWN AND HIS RESIDENCE VISA REVOKED. BUT his INS hearings on his asylum bid are REPEATEDLY DELAYED and STILL HAD NOT TAKEN PLACE WHEN THE WTC IS BOMBED IN FEBRUARY 1993 (see February 26, 1993). [Lance, 2003, pp. 105-106]
Abdul-Rahman THEN GOES TO CANADA around October 1992 and returns to the US yet again. The US and Canada CLAIM NO DOCUMENTATION OF HIS TRAVEL there, BUT numerous witnesses numerous witnesses in Canada see him pray and lecture there. Representative Charles Schumer (D) says, “Here they spent all this time trying to get him out. He goes to Canada and gives them the perfect reason to exclude him and they don’t.”
AFTER THE WTC BOMBING, the US could detain him pending his deportation hearing but chooses not to, saying it would be too costly to pay for his medical bills. [New York Times, 4/24/1993]
Abdul-Rahman will be involved in the follow up “Landmarks” plot (see June 24, 1993) BEFORE FINALLY BEING ARRESTED LATER IN 1993.
IT WILL LATER BE ALLEGED THAT HE WAS PROTECTED BY THE CIA. In 1995, the New York Times will comment that the link between Abdul-Rahman and the CIA “is a tie that remains muddy.” [New York Times, 10/2/1995]
Allegedly protected by the CIA? This easily recognizable terrorist was able to roam willy nilly all over the globe and the CIA wasn’t able to track or detect him at airports? The CIA guys are not that stupid, they took the fall - but they weren’t the Ones calling the shots.
November 5, 1990: First Bin Laden-Related Terror Attack in US as Jewish Rabbi Is Assassinated
American El Sayyid Nosair assassinates controversial right-wing Zionist leader Rabbi Meir Kahane. Kahane’s organization, the Jewish Defense League, was linked to dozens of bombings and is ranked by the FBI as the most lethal domestic militant group in the US at the time. Nosair is captured after a police shoot-out. [Village Voice, 3/30/1993]
Within hours, overwhelming evidence suggests that the assassination was a WIDE CONSPIRACY BUT the US government will immediately declare that Nosair was a LONE GUNMAN AND IGNORE THE EVIDENCE SUGGESTING OTHERWISE (see November 5, 1990 and After). NOSAIR will later be ACQUITTED of Kahane’s murder (though he will be convicted of lesser charges) as investigators continue to ignore most of the evidence in his case which links to a wider conspiracy (see December 7, 1991). Nosair is connected to al-Qaeda through his job at the Al-Kifah Refugee Center, an al-Qaeda front (see 1986-1993). The Blind Sheik comes to the US in July and within 4 months of his arrival Rabbi Kahane is dead!!! It was clever he was abroad when it happened...thereagain the CIA/Government would probably have found him an alibi if he hadn’t left the country.
