Having spent most of their lives as elected politicians, the GOP old guard keeps trying to stay in control. However the newbies may be getting restless and instead of feeling challenges by Democrats, it is the Republicans who may be their actual foes.

I wonder if they will really dare to come out with a budget that cuts a miniscule 38 billion. Combined with a few tweaks of Obamacare. If so what will you do now?

Did you actually believe the Den of Vipers would allow the Ruling Class to just sit there and roll over as We The People are demanding their demise?????

I predicted that the GOP “old guard” would rather join the Democrats than the conservatives.

And I repeat my post and question from February 6, on the last thread you posted, to which you have (SURPRISE!) not responded:

Here’s a question for you.

In the last year since January of 2010, you have posted 91 threads. As far as I can tell, all are excerpts linked to your own blog on The Examiner (unaffectionately known around here as either “The Cookie Jar” or “The Petri Dish.”)

In the past year, you have responded to comments on your threads exactly one time. That response was “Awesome comments.” You have also not posted even one time on a thread that was not your own.

This pattern of posting teaser excerpts and not caring enough about he comments they elicit to respond in kind leads one to suspect that you are just pimping your blog for hits, not really becoming part of the FreeRepublic community by engaging its members and callously using this site as a free advertising platform.

If this is your own original writing (You are “Martha” aren’t you?) then there is nothing stopping you from posting your work in full, right here for us to read.

So which is it? Are you one of us, or are you just using us?

The spam-bot program only posts threads.

Version 2.0 may have an app for replies.

The truth is that the America people don't get it. There is a one party system made to look like two.

Perfect example was during the midterms you would have thought that GOP leadership would be supportive of candidates that mirror their down the line voting record.

No, on most occasions they supported the liberal candidate who would vote with the democrats and had in the past. (Scazzafava, Castle, Murkowski, Crist initially and others)

Even when Wilson and Odonnell won the parties nomination in Alaska and Delaware the leadership continued to support Murkowski as write in undermining the will of the republicans in that state while Rove trashed Odonnell who was running against an admitted Marxist.

Other than Demint and maybe Inhofe they all voted in the Senate to allow Murkowski to stay on the energy committee which she could leverage with the unions to win. Look at all the committees she is on today along with Snow and Collins. After Murkowski voted for four liberal bills at the end of the year she was not reprimanded by the leadership looks like she was rewarded. How is it that our side doesn't threaten loss of committee seats when they go astray? Answer they are doing there job for DC. What they do is, push for the so called moderate candidates which allows them to push the agenda of Washington while the establishment of GOP from the most conservative states like Oklahoma(Coburn). Texas(Cornyn) and Kentucky (Mcconnell) can continue to look like stalwart conservatives.

The moderates then rotate their votes while the press says well that person is from a very liberal state you must understand while they are voting for legislation that even that state rejects. They talk about batting averages to make the American people feel like they are on our side yet they don't detail the quality of each vote in terms of destroying our liberty.

Trust me, we are being played especially when it comes to the Senate but also with the House leadership. This idea that they just don't get , they lost their way, dog ate their homework while the nation is spending trillions flies in the face of reason.

This is why they must take someone like Palin down, she would mean business, which I feel most democrats and republicans would support if they step back and start thinking for themselves.

Her message is empower the states and local governments instead of the one party machine in Washington which includes the likes of so called conservative personalities like Krauthammer, Rove, Gingrich and Krystal.

Palin and Bachmann are the ones these so called compassionate conservatives need to undermine so that come election day like it has been since Reagan the American voter loses either way. The end result is always bigger government and less liberties.

In order to stop this American will need to wake up soon and vote for someone like Palin who will begin to reverse this before its too late.

Did any of us really expect the elites in the GOP to upset the apple cart much? I sure didn’t. A hack is a hack is a hack, whether he has an “R” or a “D” next to his name makes no difference.

“I predicted that the GOP “old guard” would rather join the Democrats than the conservatives.”

That’s because they are global elites. Party doesn’t matter.
