Audio: Blumenthal Caught Lying Again, Says He Clerked In Roe. v Wade
Eyeblast TV ( Media Research Center) ^ | 2/10/2011 | Joe S.

Sen. Dick Blumenthal has a really, really bad habit of making up outlandish lies. Problem is he is also really, really bad at getting by unscathed.

First, Blumenthal said he was a veteran in Vietnam, when in fact that was a lie.

Now, Yid With Lid caught another flab and promptly corrects this outright fabrication of the truth from a presser on abortion rights.

Blumenthal states:

I’m new to the Senate but I’m not new to this battle. Since the days of Roe v. Wade, when I clerked for Justice Blackman, as a state legislator, as attorney general, I have fought this battle.

Yeah, but we're stuck with his Senate votes, too. CT voters are just as moronic.

So again...

Thanks so much, Connecticut voters.

He did clerk for Justice Blackmun. I suppose you’re point is that it wasn’t during the days of Roe v Wade? Is that the point?

I read some clarification which says that he clerked in 1974....a year after Roe v Wade.

I guess he just “thought” he was there then....

Roe V. Wade was a year before Blumenthal clerked at the SC. Get it? He’s lying again. That’s “the point”.

And given the horrendous revelations coming out of the Planned Parenthood clinics, you’d think these dumbhead politicians would be running from Roe v. Wade as fast as possible. But Mr. Blumenthal doesn’t seem too bright or well-informed.

“I miss spoke” is commonly used when a politician is caught lying, except for Obozo and the Clintons. They know that everybody knows they are lying but they keep lying.

“Since the days of Roe v. Wade,” meaning “days,” as in around that time, not “day,” the exact time, which is true. That’s how he’ll technically get off. Of course the insinuation here is that he worked on the Roe v. Wade case. Lying without technically lying, a hallmark of almost all politicians.
