Will there be Revolution in American like Egypt?
Creating Orwellian Worldview ^ | 2/11/11 | Alaphiah

Just how close is America from an Egypt like revolution? Travis Smiley and Professor Cornell West speculated the possibilities of America revolting against their government and the economic power establishments in America just like what is going on in Egypt in a recent radio interview.

What is so interesting about this February 6, 2011 radio conversation is there is a Black man who is the Leader of America. The American Oligarchy and Plutocracy of which professor West advocates overthrow are both lead by a Black man, president Barry Hussein Soetoro.

The Soetoro stimulus and bailouts that funneled trillions of dollars into the pockets of Bankers and the political upper class left homeowners and the poor stranded. Because of Soetoro’s policies, the poor will remain so or get poorer while the rich get richer in spite of the Soetoro false claims that he is working for the poor.

We share the same factors high unemployment, political corruption and neo-fascist government that is unresponsive to the people. Will the people demand the president to step down?

It wont be like Egypt...

but if the bullies in govt decides to completely trash the constitution...there will be a return to liberty...

and unlike Egyptians...Americans have liberty's teeth.

Americans live on $208.00 per day on federal and state welfare(total of entitlements). Egyptians live on $2.00 per day of their own labor.

No rioting here bud.

The situation in Egypt highlights how difficult this sort of thing really is. What would the police do here? What would the military do? If "The People" felt the need to use violence, what would they attack? Their neighborhood stores? The local bank? Why would these targets help their cause? But what targets would be better?

In the old days, you could hide behind a stone wall and take a pot shot at the guy in the red uniform. Nowadays, revolutions within a fully industrialized nation with an all encompassing governmental apparatus is really very hard.

it is ridiculous to compare the uSA to Egypt or the life of an average Egyptian to that of an average American

RIDICULOUS

however, when the average US citizen spends over 50% of their income on a few basic food staples, there may be a convergence of interests and sympathies

The media along with the those in high places have a different definition for government protests/revolts:

If Big Labor/SEIU, people of color or any other protected group begin to ‘revolt’, these people are sympathetically refereed to as freedom fighters, civil rights demonstrators or exploited workers asking for economic justice.

If Tea Party folks or Christian conservatives take the street in protest against the government, they are derided as angry racists, corporate pawns or anti-government kooks.

To the left, there are really two Americas.

“Will there be Revolution in American like Egypt?”
******************
*****************************

The unasked question...

How many/few real Americans are really left in America?

Sure we know there are dinosaurs left, but they are aging and left over from days gone by; most of their number have moved on to the hereafter long ag; and mor departing dail.

What of the others?

It takes real Americans for a revolution, those who believe in the USA and its founding,Declaration of Independence, so forth.

Independence being the key word here...

We all know the answer; we just don’t talk about ir, and when we do talk we just go on and on as if we really didn’t know the answer at all.

$208 American equals $2 Egyptian. Plus if entitlements are taken away and slackers are forced to look for food I can see possibilities...

Our revolution should be to kick out all the globalists and close our borders. Close the borders now.

All that is necessary for evil to succeed, is that good men do nothing! I believe you know a little something about this quote.

Oppressed Egyptians are revolting against what they perceive as government corruption and government induced poverty.

Apparently you feel it ridiculous to think that Free Americans would throw of the bonds of corruption and government tyranny.

I think much could be accomplished using the old tool of the left, the general strike. Everyone takes off work for a week, or two weeks.

Big money in this country howls in pain over fractions of a percent of decline in profitability. Imagine taking a 2%, 5%, 10% chunk out of the GDP.

Of course it would require organization, planning ahead, solidarity of purpose; all those things modern Americans are so good at. /s

All-in-all, its more likely to happen and succeed than armed revolt, in this day and age.
