I think many of us who "get it" get tired of constantly hearing it. Others are hooked because the "excitement" releases endorphins and they are addicted to it. Same thing happens with cults.
But then some people said the same thing about that guy out there, "a voice crying in the wilderness."
Do I think Beck is a prophet from God, uhmmm no, but he is addressing our season's lack of common sense. And he does attempt to put through a path in what will surely become our wilderness.
The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make straight in the desert a highway for our God. -- Isaiah 40: 1-3 (KJV)
He's been really getting into an almost Armageddon mode lately. We don't know that is what is going to happen, only God knows. But, we can use our common sense to "see" that our times are changing and a dark age is breaking across the world. We've been very foolish with our liberty and freedom. We, as a country, are unprepared and in denial of how dangerous our situation truly is.
Beck, crying in the wilderness a river of crocodile tears?
Ezekiel 33 works for me...
Precisely. It is very disturbing to hear the obvious being repeated continually and yet...no hard solutions presented; only fear and in GB's case, the worst case scenerio and fear is presented. Of course we know what the solutions truly are; very few have the courage to openly state those.
“Beck, crying in the wilderness a river of crocodile tears?”
He really hasn’t gotten weepy that often over the years, it’s just that when any high-profile male does, it’s talked about so much and replayed so often that it gets magnified.
I believe GB’s emotion is real, and there are many admirable, accomplished public people who respect, like, and call him a genuine friend.
