ObamaCare 101: A preview of ObamaCare

Nationalized health care is unlikely to be repealed while Obama is president, but it can be defunded, and it may be declared unconstitutional. Federal Judge Roger Vinson just did so, citing James Madison in Federalist 51:

If men were angels, no government would be necessary. If angels were to govern men, neither external nor internal controls on government would be necessary. In framing a government which is to be administered by men over men, the great difficulty lies in this: you must first enable the government to control the governed; and in the next place OBLIGE IT TO CONTROL ITSELF. [Emphasis added.]

The House is about to take up a budget proposal that would block funding for ObamaCare. If you believe as I do that nationalized health care is unsafe as well as unnecessary, CONTACT YOUR REPRESENTATIVE NOW and make your views known.

I was thinking the other day that, had George Steinbrenner been under ObamaCare last year, you can bet your life he wouldn’t have received “end of life counciling.” Barak would have done everything to keep him on life support till January 1 so the government would get a huge estate tax contribution to socialism and the family would have lost the Yankees to pay it.

Aside from that, the reason that the criminally corrupt malfeasance at the government run MLK Medical Center persisted for so long was a lack of accountability. If a private hospital had been performing like that, not only would they have been out of business at the blink of an eye, but perpetrators would be in jail.
