What you see instead is that some of the most corrupt elements of society are found among the musicians. The drugs, the deviations and homosexuality, these type of things and all the corruption thats there, people committing suicide, he says. The reality is that it in fact does carry an evil, dark side which produces that type of corruption amongst themselves and, in the end, ends up corrupting elements of the society. Actually has a point here.

“while calling homosexuality evil and dangerous. “
Well, they got one thing right.
I am concerned that as we turn in revulsion against the evil practice of Islam, we end up embracing perversion etc. as something enlightened and wonderful.

Once there was a time I’d rob my mama
For a good meal and a smoke
Once there was a time I’d sell my brother
For a dollar when I was broke
But I’d never sell my guitar
And my strings were always sharp
‘Cause if I don’t have a guitar
I’ll be strumming on some angels harp

My heart is filled with God and joy in Him and the beauty He has given us invokes song. Often my songs are my prayers. God is truth and beauty, Islam is a destroyer.

Jerry Lee Lewis became a pariah in the music industry for many of these same things. And he didn't even speak out AGAINST music!

Sheik Philips, once wrote: “Western culture, led by the United States, is the enemy of Islam.”
The US Government named him as an “unindicted co-conspirator” in the 1993 bombings that killed six people and injured 1000. He was deported from the US in 2004.

Bilal Philips was once a guitar god.Hardly.
"While studying in Simon Frasier University at Vancouver in Canada, I played the guitar in shows, nightclubs. When I went to Malaysia, I also performed onstage and became known as the Jimmy Hendrex of Sabah in East Malaysia. However, when I became a Muslim, I felt uncomfortable doing this and gave it up both professionally and privately, he said."
But then, if he could play like "Jimmy Hendrex" I guess he was pretty good.
