Poll: Majority of Republicans Doubt Obama Born in U.S.

According to a new poll released this week, the majority of Republicans doubt President Barack Obama was born inside the United States. This would mean that the President, now in his third year, would have been ineligible to run for our highest office in the first place.

The poll, conducted by Public Policy Polling, stated that "51% [of Republicans] say they don't think Barack Obama was born in the United States." Going further, the article stated that 28% "firmly believe" that the President was born outside of the U.S., while only 21% firmly believe he was born in the country.

I think most don’t doubt but most do question as to why he never presented his B/C .
Why he refuses to show it.
Why he will not answer questions about it and why he fights it.
Why no one even the HI Gov could nto find it when he said he will and to show it to shut people up.
Why his OWN WIFE said “Baracks homeland Kenya”
why he has sealed his records even his school recrods.
This might do down in history as the only president where we have no idea what grades he got in schools.

I certainly doubt that he conforms to the Constitutional meaning of “Natural Born Citizen”...He was a boy. His father was a Muslim...and the heritage claim of the son goes to him.

This issue will not be resolved in the next 2 years. The Left will just follow with their normal slurs and charges of racism, which will create a din that will not be heard in the election.

Unfortunately, the truth WILL come out, but only after Obama is long gone, in 5-10 years, when the Left will have moved on to their next messiah.

Part of me wants to believe he is not a US citizen. Recent photocopies of a Kenyan BC suggest he was born there, the passport issues add further fuel to the fire. However, I draw back because I just know that Hillary checked this stuff ten ways to Sunday during the race. The only thing that fits in my mind is that Hillary, who was also chided for lack of foreign affairs experience, backed off provided she was given a position that would give her foreign affairs experience. This scenario is the only one that I can come up with that squares with Obama’s hiding of the facts of his past, surrendering his ability to practice law (as did Michelle), and the recent evidence about his birth certificate. If something else fits, I'd like to hear it.

Think about this, if he was in fact not born in the US and his father was in fact Barrack H. Obama, Sr. then under the prevailing law at the time of his birth he not only would not be a “natural born citizen” as the Constitution requires, but he would not be a U.S. citizen at all. His mother at the time of his birth was too young to transmit citizenship under the Immigration Act of 1952.

Regardless of where he was born, the only way that Barrack H. Obama, Jr. could be a “natural born” U.S. Citizen is if someone other than Barrack H. Obama, Sr. was his father.

This applies to Obozo, assuming he is the son of Barrack H. Obama, Sr. and that he was born abroad.

this is poorly phrased. a child born to a us military couple stationed in germany is born outside of the US but is a citizen. i do not believe zero is an American citizen.
