In November 2009, Sarah Palin made news with a comment on Israel in an interview with ABC's Barbara Walters:
"I believe that the Jewish settlements should be allowed to be expanded upon, because that population of Israel is, is going to grow. More and more Jewish people will be flocking to Israel in the days and weeks and months ahead. And I don't think that the Obama administration has any right to tell Israel that the Jewish settlements cannot expand."
The left-leaning JTA dubbed this "puzzling." J Street had a fit. ("Palin's pandering to her right-wing base comes at the expense of the security of the State of Israel, the lives of those actually living the conflict, and the fundamental American interest in achieving a two-state solution in the near term. Her words reveal a glaring ignorance of damaging facts and a callous disregard of past and present U.S. policy.") Reporters and snooty critics who should know better mocked her. The Christian Science Monitor proclaimed "her assertion that more and more Jews will be 'flocking' to Israel soon is dubious (the immigration of US Jews to Israel hit an 18-year low in 2007 while the Palestinian population in the area is growing at faster rate than the Jewish one)."
Well, I suppose one can quibble about the definition of "flocking." But today we learn:
The Central Bureau of Statistics said Thursday that aliyah to Israel had grown in 2010. According to CBS statistics, there were 14% more immigrants to Israel in 2010 than in 2009, for a total of 16,633 immigrants. Most of the immigrants came from Russia and the U.S., the CBS said.
There is plenty of room to debate the settlements and the eventual disposition of Judea and Samaria....

She has a habit of speaking plain truth, and the permanently outraged are unsurprisingly outraged.
Israel has the right and the responsibility to choose the borders she is prepared to live and die by. It isn’t our place to tell them whether or not they can expand settlements on land they bought and paid for and hold title to.
She got “this one” right, as if she hasn’t been right on many other things before this.
The lesson from this is not “Palin should be president!” or even that “None of the criticisms of Palin are valid.” Hardly. Rather, it’s a lesson for the press: Reflexive criticism of Palin leads them to falsely assume she is always wrong and thereby leaves the press, not Palin, with egg on their faces.
Sometime after he achieved room temperature.
“Comments?”
Yes, Israelis are waiting for President Palin almost as much as Freepers.
Of course she’s right. The bible also says the Jews would be coming back to their homeland.
I guarantee she also knows that from a biblical perspective that;
1) Palestine belongs to the Jews
2) To bless Israel and be blessed
3) Dividing Israel is a big no no
4) Trying to bring peace is a waste of time and only Jesus can bring it upon his return.
Make room for them by expelling all the palies to their native lands of Egypt and Jordan.
Yes. She’s right.
End Days Ping....The Israeli people will come home...
Sarah is right again.
You can guess who Bibi is pulling for. I’m sure that he prays for her safety and success daily as she does for him and Israel.

Yes she is and thats what scares them.
By my life experiences: (and that is based on 77 years)
When you are accused, whether by friend, enemy, relative or spouse; “The accuser knows he or she is capable of doing the same they accuse you of doing, themself.”
Our prayer should be: “May all the accusers be found out!”
She would make a wonderful president.
Women, children, minorities and Pissant hardest hit.
Wow, a positive item about Sarah Palin from Giuliani fan Jennifer Rubin? This must be the first one since she became WaPo’s token Conservative Lite. Jen’s first three Post columns about Gov. Palin were all hit pieces.
As one commenter said, writing something positive about Palin must have been the equivalent of passing a kidney stone for Rubin.

I’m presently reading Reich’s Quest for Peace, giving a history of American relations with Israel, and in the past the US did its best to be neutral and allow the people actually living in the region to decide what kind of peace to make. Now a two-state solution is a fundamental US policy?! To all my lantsmen in the the US, I have this to say: GET OUT! NOW! While there are still affordable flights. And join the Israeli resistance to Obamerican imperialism.
