Why the hell do the tax payers put anything into their retirements? Why isn’t it wholly funded by their own wages?

Uh, the taxpayers pay the wages. If it is funded by their wages, the taxpayer is still funding their retirement.

Quadruple posts are rare. I have been seeing a good number of triple posts.

I wonder if the rage level correlates to the number of double, triple and quadruple posts seen on FR?

They took our tax money as union wages, and gave it to the democrats. Democrats paid them back by giving them more of our tax money. We get stolen from twice every year, and it doesn't cost the union or the democrat politicians a penny. They get more and more power with our money, and we become more and more enslaved. That's how we got to where we are today.

The legal minimum for an Illinois public school year is 176 days of “pupil attendance.” If a school doesn’t meet that minimum, they lose 1/176th (.56818%) of their state funding for each day they fall short.

Wasn't aware until you told me.
I don't know why it did that.

I'm sure it has something to do with the Internet connection to FR.

Modern browsers these days seem to want to hide the fact from the users that they are actually waiting for a response and are busy.

The browsers used to have a big swirling graphic that let the user know to be patient. I’ve hit repost because it is not obvious and I think that I forgot to hit post.

“Economist Gary Shilling has calculated that 58% of the US population is dependent on the government for major parts of their income.

In 1950 it was just 29% - that’s double.

By 2018, Shilling estimates that an astounding 67% of Americans could be dependent on the government for their livlihood.

(including teachers, soldliers, beaurocrats, and other government employees, welfare and social security recipients, government pensions, public housing beneficiaries, and those who work for government contractors. )”

Get thyself to a counselor or shrink. That’s morbid. God does not want you to “off” yourself.

A large part of the Wisconsin population has German ancestry, but no German names on the list of holidays. There are holidays honoring Anglo-Americans, African-Americans, a Pole, a Norseman who probably never saw what is not the US, but no Germans. Achtung! Wir haben hier ethnische Diskrimination!

Not sure who would be the best to add to the list--Beethoven? Goethe? Schiller? Von Steuben?

Maybe should find someone whose birthday is either between late June and early August, or between Chrismas and New Year's, so that celebrating his birthday wouldn't mean cancelling a day of school.

It would be more appropriate to commemorate Steuben and
all later German-ethnic militiamen (e.g. Missouri ) by
reviving the formal citizen militia.

Don’t. If you, a FReeper do this, you will *definitely*
be giving aid and comfort to the enemy. Think on that.
