Those inside the Beltway know Fred Grandy’s cheerful bright morning talk on WMAL-AM. Those outside the beltway know him as a Congressman, Gopher or star of the Monster Squad. But he somehow offended the thin sensibilities of the Council of American Islamic Relations, enough to get yanked off the air.
WMAL has a reputation for caving to this group. They did the same thing to Boston talker Michael Graham when he was at WMAL.

I think that Fred Grandy should change is diet from vegan to all-pork as a response.
I’m sure Fred will land on his feet. He has a great brain and isn’t afraid to say what’s on his mind. I enjoy(ed) listening to him, but I had a hard time tuning in when he was on with the lib lightweight Neimann (sp), which was always.
When will our alleged representatives cut off overseas radical funding to lawyers in this country.

Many of you are missing the point. Whether you like listening to Grandy, whether you think he is going to get another gig and land on his feet, whether you think he has enough money to make out okay financially after this is all irrelevant. The point is that once again the terrorist-linked Council on Islamic-American Relations has shown that it controls the on-air radio talent and programming in the nation’s capital. It can decide to eliminate anyone whose words don’t comport with the Koran. Their power is truly terrible. The Islamists are determining what YOU can listen to!

The Grandy Group is still on the WMAL site, still on Facebook, Google has NO MENTION in local media [WUSA9, WJLA, WRC, WTTG], Wa Po has not picked it up, same for Wash. Times ...
