It is unimaginable that a Republican would have the audacity to oppose a speaker at a Democratic Club event, but Democrats, like Montgomery County’s Saqib Ali, apparently have no hesitancy in attempting to silence those with whom they disagree. He must be learning from fellow Montgomery Countian, Joe “the Silencer” Sandler,* that if you don’t like what is being said, you shut down free speech. Here is a story from the Chevy Chase Patch about Democrat Ali putting pressure on a Republican Women’s Club to dis-invite former Congressman Fred Grandy from speaking at an event in September. The Chevy Chase...

I'm flabbergasted to hear people I normally agree with be so optimistic about the current upheaval. I am actually shouting at my television. I am watching Fox News Sunday, and politicians and pundits with whom I normally agree — Newt Gingrich, John McCain, Joe Lieberman, and Bill Kristol — are all making me crazy with their advice on Libya. Each seems to believe that success in America’s latest foreign adventure is predicated on taking out Moammar Gaddafi, and they are all blaming President Obama and Secretary Robert Gates for failing to grasp the obvious. So now I’m yelling: “Guys, the...

For most of the last decade, my husband, Fred Grandy, has earned his living as a news/talk morning radio host in Washington, D.C. For most of the last year, he has hosted The Grandy Group, a morning drive-time show covering politics, foreign policy, and pop culture, along with the usual regional and local stories that make up any given day’s news. (snip) Then I joined the show. Under the pseudonym of Mrs. Fred, I began harmlessly enough. I would show up every Friday at 8 a.m. and talk family and domestic stuff: raising a daughter in college, road rage in...

"Mrs. Fred" delivers a rousing and disturbing, salient analysis of the Muslim Mafia in the U.S., with Obama as the not-so-stealth head of the not-so-stealth snake: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FeR2o-lZ_9k&feature=player_embedded

WMAL: Grandy Not Gagged On Islamic Talk - 3/5 - Midday Saturday, DCRTV received the following statement from WMAL's President/General Manager Jeff Boden: "WMAL did not terminate Fred Grandy's employment, and never had any intention to do so. Fred informed us on March 2 of his intention to resign from the station. To be clear, at no time has WMAL told Fred that he was not allowed to discuss his views on Islam over the air. In fact, he has done so on numerous occasions. Further, WMAL has not been contacted by any organization seeking to restrict his broadcasts. Bryan...

Washington, D.C. radio station WMAL is once again being accused of firing a popular talk show host because of his criticism of radical Muslims. The station, a major source of news and information for the nation’s capital, claims that popular morning host Fred Grandy resigned on his own, but Grandy tells AIM that he was essentially forced to leave after his wife, who is also outspoken about radical Islam, was cut from the program...........

Washington, D.C. radio station WMAL is once again being accused of firing a popular talk show host because of his criticism of radical Muslims. The station, a major source of news and information for the nation’s capital, claims that popular morning host Fred Grandy resigned on his own, but Grandy tells AIM that he was essentially forced to leave after his wife, who is also outspoken about radical Islam, was cut from the program. The growing controversy over Grandy’s departure has resulted in some Grandy supporters charging the station with being “Sharia-compliant,” a reference to Islamic law, and with bending...

More sharia (Islamic law): this is enforcement of blasphemy laws, do not insult Islam. How much more of our freedoms are we going to allow them to seize? James Lafferty wrote: WMAL management has caved to CAIR once again! Fred Grandy is off-the-air because he told the truth about jihadists working within America to destroy our government and subjugate all Americans to Islam. And Jan P wrote: Fred Grandy (ex-actor and ex-congressman) regularly informed his audience of the jihad, Sharia and the attacks on western civilization. His wife, “Mrs. Fred” appeared every Friday. Fred has had Carolyn Glick, Brigitte Gabriel,...

Those inside the Beltway know Fred Grandy’s cheerful bright morning talk on WMAL-AM. Those outside the beltway know him as a Congressman, Gopher or star of the Monster Squad. But he somehow offended the thin sensibilities of the Council of American Islamic Relations, enough to get yanked off the air. WMAL has a reputation for caving to this group. They did the same thing to Boston talker Michael Graham when he was at WMAL. www.630wmal.com

Fred Grandy has informed WMAL of his intention to resign from the station and its morning program, The Grandy Group. Veteran broadcast talent Bryan Nehman will continue to anchor the morning program and in the interim will be joined by several notable guest hosts and regular contributors. The station’s morning show will also continue to provide the latest news, traffic and weather reports to its audience. WMAL remains committed to its goal of providing a forum for discussing a broad spectrum of issues while delivering compelling programming including Chris Plante, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, and Mark Levin.

Listen The popular morning drive radio talk show The Grandy Group aired today a special song entitled "Obama is a Muslim." The satirical song was performed by The Grandy Group host Fred Grandy. The song was inspired by a new poll finding an increasing number of Americans convinced that President Obama is a Muslim. Share the song with your friends!

Fred Grandy (a.k.a Gopher from "The Love Boat) and Andy Parks are out. FishbowlDC sources have confirmed and DCRTV (www.dcrtv.com) is reporting that WMAL's (630 AM) duo has been fired. Grandy is a former Republican member of Congress. It won't happen immediately -- their end date is still up in the air. The news has been circulating at the station all day long. Word has it that corporate-wide cuts of the most expensive employees are necessary to save money. Station manager Paul Duckworth did not return a phone request for comment at FBDC press time.

On WMAL’s Sam Donaldson show this morning, Sam closed his last program by stating “You know the old saying, God protects fools, drunks, and the United States of America. He’s got His work cut out for Him.” I am highly pissed off that you allow this anti-American tripe go unchallenged. The other night, Chris Core encouraged his listeners to call Channel 9, WUSA, and complain about 60 Minutes showing more prison photos. How would you like the same done to you. I demand an apology to all of WMAL’s listeners for this anti-American viewpoint.

Driving to work this morning, I was listening to Fred Grandy and Andy Parks on WMAL. They discussed how both parties are dredging up the past of Viet Nam, failing to mention that it is Kerry who continues to bring up his service time. The also fail to mention how the democrats label conservatives as murderers of women and children, how President Bush is called a draft dodger or being AWOL, or how Kerry called service men in Nam baby-killers, rapists, and murderers. I sent them an email, which is below. If any of you want to email them and...
