Reading this article made me think of folks claiming that they have or know someone with chronic Lyme disease. I would rule out other
Tick borne illnesses first. They all can cause vague, flu like symptoms. As mentioned in the article, Babesiosis can also be acquired from blood transfusions as the parasite is inside red blood cells.
