Among the defenders of the fat-cat educrats is Springfield’s own State Rep. Bill Adolph (R-165) who as House Appropriations Chairman earns about $90,000 per year and is in line for a $64,000 pension upon retirement.

yes I was hit-upon by Pitt’s administration in an email admonishing the Corbett admin for their uncaring attitude toward poor college students. I emailed them back “boo hoo”. I worked by way thru college & am paying my grad school loans now. Why should my tax dollars be funding the drunken exploits of entitlement-mentality 20-somethings?

College is the biggest scam going. At best, you come out four years dumber and five figures in debt. At worst you come out completely indoctrinated into non-sensical leftism and a quarter of a million in debt with a degree in something completely useless, like lesbian studies.

And all for what? “The secret handshake” so when you apply for a job, you can show the joker who's going to hire you that you belong to the same college grad club that he does.

Know what I learned in college? Nothing. I've become so much smarter upon escaping that hole and forgetting everything I learned and replacing it with the truth.

Good for Gov. Corbett.

I was going back and forth with a lib friend who's a Penn State alum. He was bemoaning the cuts in funding (never mind that he never donates to the school) and said it helped "disadvantaged students". I asked him if he received any while he was there and he responded that yes, it had "helped" him. This is a guy who's parents paid $20k a year to send him to Friends Select.

But it helps "disadvantaged students".

What a feakin' joke.

Certainly would make for a whole lot less administrators and a lot more relevant classes with a whole lot harder-working professors.
