Anytine someone has to qualify their poll by calling it scientific, or stunning, I tune out. It is like buying a used car from Honest Ed.
So you prefer web polls, which are unscientific?
“Scientific poll” has a meaning. It says that the poll is a gauge of opinion, and is not self-selecting (like the online polls that get “freeped”).
I’m sorry you don’t understand that, sometimes, words mean things.
However - “stunning” is simply hyperbole, here. The Obama administration prefers the term “unexpected”.
Anytime someone has a poll, period, I tune out.
As far as I'm concerned, they're ALL made up. To anyone reading, have you ever been part of a national poll? Ever known anyone who has? With as many polls as there are on a weekly basis, you'd think after years, decades of these, that the odds would be that just once, if not you, then someone you know would say they'd been polled. But for me at least, that has NEVER happened. Anyone have anything different to report?
