In an email to The Daily Caller on Monday morning, Huffington Post editor Roy Sekoff alleged that conservative publisher Andrew Breitbart is not telling the truth about discussions they had regarding HuffPos removal of his blog from its front page.
HuffPo removed Breitbarts blog from its homepage because of an ad hominem attack he made in TheDC against President Barack Obamas former green jobs czar Van Jones. TheDC reported that Sekoff told Breitbart he was attempting to convince the left-wing sites founder, Arianna Huffington, to include language saying Breitbart was not a racist in a statement announcing he had been dropped.
[I]ts simply not true, as claimed in the story, that I told Andrew that there was a statement prepared stating that we didnt think Andrew was a racist but that Arianna decided not to use it, Sekoff said in the e-mail to TheDC. There was never any such statement. And there was never an internal argument over making or not making such a statement; the only argument I mentioned to Andrew was between those who wanted to completely ban him from the site, and Arianna and I, who felt that was not the right way to handle it.

Full Title: Huffington Post alleges Breitbart lied to TheDC; Breitbart says statement shows Ariannas true colors
Huffington Post Editor Roy Sekoff appeared on The Joy Behar Show Wednesday to discuss Sarah Palins debut as a Fox News analyst.
Jon Stewart recently did a bit where he talked about how the Fox News hosts had to dumb themselves down for the audience, said Sekoff. Sarah Palin doesnt have that problem. She fits right in.
Although of COURSE Breitbart isn’t a racist, the real issue remains Puffington Host’s hilariously maintaining that they only fired Breitbart for ad hominem attacks in his Van Jones article. Good G*d, Arianna’s site scarcely posts anything BUT personal attacks ... on conservatives, usually.
Joy Behar Show on HLN, when host Behar asked, referring to House Republicans, “Are they going to ruin health care?” guest Roy Sekoff - founding editor of the Huffington Post - referred to a repeal of Obamacare as “destroy[ing] health care.” Moments later, he also claimed that Obamacare “will actually lower the debt,” and accused Republicans of being hypocritical for wanting to repeal it

on Behar, Huffington Post editor Roy Sekoff was waxing pseudo-philosophically about Sarah Palins use of the term blood libel when he spewed this gem:
Why does the party of the angry white man insist on using these terms about minorities?
Eugene Robinson wasnt white when he said the following on Countdown with Keith Olbermann:
The historical context is simple. It is blood libel against black men.
And Steve Cohen wasnt a Republican when he stood on the House floor and stated:
They say its a government takeover of health care. A big lie just like Joseph Goebbels. You say it enough and you repeat the lie, repeat the lie, repeat the lie until eventually people believe it. Like blood libel.
And certainly no one mistook NY Times columnist Frank Rich for being a man when saying:
Bush administration allies exploited the former Congressmans predatory history to spread the grotesque canard that homosexuality is a direct path to pedophilia. Its the kind of blood libel that in another era was spread about Jews.
Little homo Lib would get slammed by Sarah.
The Huffington Post, Roy Sekoff & Untruth
The Daily Caller is out with a big piece today on the Huffington Post and Andrew Breitbart that quotes me extensively.
In that article, I talk about something I mentioned here last week that in a phone conversation a few months ago, HuffPost editor Roy Sekoff had told me that neither he or Arianna Huffington thought Andrew Breitbart was a racist but that they didnt come to his defense during the countless attacked hes endured including many on the Huffington Post because it would put them in a bad position with their liberal friends.
The DC says
Stranahan said he asked Sekoff about Breitbart before he started working for the conservative publisher since in the left-wing circles Breitbart is viewed as Satan.
Roy was as clear as can be. Of course, no, of course hes not racist he said I know that, Stranahan said in a phone interview. He said, we know that. There was no case of Roy going, well, I dont, of course, think he is racist, but Arianna does. Arianna knows hes not racist because hes not racist. Anyone who knows him personally knows hes not.
Sekoff denies that conversation, and told TheDC he never said any of that to Stranahan. If you publish that, you will be publishing an untruth, Sekoff said in an email to TheDC. I never said that to Lee or anyone else. Period. (Emphasis added)
Roy Sekoff is lying. Period.
