I sure hope this whole Trump thing isn’t some sort of “rope a dope.” Don’t want anyone to get hurt (feelings, reputations, etc)

I’m glad Cain is bringing up the eligibility issue because I’m not hearing it from Trump, only about Obama being born on US soil. I’m wondering if all of this isn’t a ploy to have Obama come out and release the original showing he was, in fact, born in Hawaii. Then, when the true issue comes up (citizenship of his father, as well as his own Indonesian citizenship), they can say “WHAT MORE DO YOU WANT???” and blow off the argument. Trump might be doing a rope-a-dope on the rest of us. Some how, I don’t trust him.
Forget getting conclusive answers to Obama’s missing records, this is simply just good strategy.
Make Obama prove his eligibility and go through the vetting process he never did in the first place, THEN hit him on duping the American public by campaigning as a centrist, and MOST OF ALL his dismal first term record.
This means, go back and revive the “Pals around with terrorist” mantra, only come armed with the dates, positions and associations.
People believed the factcheck, and they don’t want to think they got duped...so there will be resistance, but if it’s done right, Obama will have to admit he lies.
And so it begins. Good. This should have happened long ago.
Even if Obama were born in America. He is not culturally “Black American” as the liberal media tries to imply.
It’s a shame it took this long for this issue to make it to the MSM.
I’m happy Trump is pushing this. All other GOP candidates should focus on the other issues but they should at least make it known and televised when each GOP candidate submits their own Birth Certificate. Actions are as good as words.

This is very cool. If even one more likely candidate stands up and does the same, they'll all have to stand up - and then EVERY Republican will have to join in the chorus.

Did Tim finally tell us who saw what records? He said specifically that Elections Division staff contacted the Hawaii Department of Health, Kapi’olani and Queens hospitals and were told that they had no records on Obama. So we now know what records he claimed were queried; however, he refuses to name anyone who queried the records, nor did he explain how anyone in the Elections Division legitimately asked about someone who was not registering to vote in Hawaii.

I saw it already and am not impressed. The lack of knowledge of the US Constitution these presidential wannabees have is making my skin crawl with political slime. I really went off on Bachmann & Huckabee after they tried once again to solicit money from me for their election prospects. I don’t expect they’ll be e-mailing again and at this point I’m not going to hold my breath that Cain will give me any reason to sign for his given the political climate right now.
