In the late 1940s; Russian spies infiltrated the deepest levels of the US government, including the Rosenbergs who had stolen the plans to the nuclear bomb. America was threatened by a ruthless enemy in Soviet Communism that would not stop until the world was enslaved. When Senator Joseph McCarthy learned of the Russian infiltration of Washington, DC, he was determined to take the evidence public to the American people.
In his famous speech on February 9th, 1950, McCarthy brought public a list of 57 known communists working for the state department. These revelations took the American public by storm. Out of all the Senators and public figures in Washington, only McCarthy had the courage to stand up against communist infiltration. It was a deed that McCarthys leftist critics would never forgive him for.o
For the next four years, Senator Joseph McCarthy stood undeterred against the strong socialist influence in Washington, exposing literally hundreds of anti-American operatives working incognito for the US Government. (SOURCE)
ONLY 57 Communists? Good Grief!
If Joe McCarthy was alive today, and engaged in the same investigation, theres a pretty good chance hed have to use a set of hand trucks, or a dolly, to roll the current list of suspected communists, plus the socialists and Marxists working for, employed by, or otherwise involved with the US government.
We must remember, dear reader, that was 1950. It was near the beginning of the socialist movement in the American mainstream media which would, as time passed, become so strong it would sanitize the socialist/marxist/communist movement to infiltrate the US government until today that movement controls, approximately, half of the three branches of the current US government.

And I firmly believe Ann Coulter, who said a few years ago, that NOT ONE person was ever falsly accused. They gave Metzembaum-ish answers like, "How could you accuse me of that?" and "How dare you accuse me of that?", no answers of which would answer the simple question of "Are you now, or have ever been a member of the communist part?"
Can you imagine how many sensitive national secrets have been raided by these anti-Americans in not only D.C. but in our very White House?
There are so many legions of communists entrenched in this country now that nothing but a bloody civil war will ever sort them out.
AND don't forget to add.. started the long and costly Cold War..
The Soviets saved large amounts of money and resources and TIME.. because of the Rosenbergs "GIFT"..
It has been proven that Stalin financed the American Communist Party.. and more or less "Directed IT".
There were many many american traitors that were NOT exposed and prosecuted..
Some of them trained, the people that trained, many of those in the White House right now..
AND are professors in Americas best colleges.. currently..
Training even more treasonous sons of b!tches NOW..
Even the demise of the House UnAmerican Activities Committee is kept under wraps. All of a sudden, it simply disappeared—no recorded vote killed it. The democrat-run House simply “forgot” to include it on the routine list of annual appropriations. Not a single Republican noticed the “omission,” and it was gone. The executive branch’s Homeland Security Dept. attempts to accomplish some of the same goals, yet there’s little or no criticism of its integrity or legitimacy or political incorrectness. HUAC was run by the people’s House and it’s deemed evil; yet Homeland Security’s run by an appointee of the president and it’s deemed good. Why is that, I wonder.
VENONA PROJECT!
We need a Joseph McCarthy today.
Of course. But it was more than that. Good ole Ike & co. at the White House sided with the dems against McCarthy and everything he stood for. It’s absolutely amazing what “history” has chosen to forget—Joe McCarthy was more popular than the now-revered Dwight Eisehower!
And another thing that’s been bothering me. “The Kennedys.”
The film mentions that Bobby worked for the “McClellan Committee.” Well, yes, but long after McClennan left, when Joe McCarthy hired him (one of JRM’s few mistakes)! Bobby owed whatever start he had to Joe McCarthy. John beat Henry Cabot Lodge ONLY because Joe McCarthy chose not to campaign for Lodge in the Mass. senate-race. Then, Mr. Profiles-in-Courage himself is too sick to vote for or against Joe’s censure.
I think Joe’s rolled over enough in his grave to be exonerated, but that probably won’t happen until the unions—in particular, the teachers’ unions—are crushed entirely.
The VENONA project was WW II communications between the USSR and the United States. The VERONA Cables were communications between the USSR and its agents at the State Department.
Number of innocent lives destroyed by McCarthy = 0
Number of lives destroyed by Stalin’s agents = Millions
The VENONA cables were from the Soviet Rezidents in Washington, New York and San Francisco. Their agents, the Rosenbergs, Greenglass, inter alia, reported to their handlers, who in turn wrote and encrypted the cables back to the Soviet Foreign Ministry/KGB-GRU Hqs in Moscow. Moscow cabled its instructions to their legal missions in the US. Clandestine communications carried traffic to their illegals. They had much greater success in our country than our officers did in theirs because they were able to move about freely; there just weren’t enough FBI agents to identify and track all of them. We are a free country. Theirs wasn’t.
This book shows that McCarthy was an American hero and not the villain libs have managed to make of him through the decades. Then as now, Big Lib Media lined up against McCarthy. Several big scoundrels in these smearings of McCarthy were columnists Drew Pearson and Jack Anderson of the Wash Post. And the book shows that McCarthy's efforts did make the country safer by rooting out and getting rid of hundreds of bonafide security risks and making many federal departments enact tougher security measures. After reading this book you'll probably agree with me that there should be a statue of McCarthy in Washington D.C.
