The Trump Factor: Speculation Behind The New Narrative
self

Posted on 04/12/2011 4:44:44 AM PDT by jimjohn

Forget what the polls say. Reasonable doubt has been placed in the minds of Americans concerning the birthplace of one whose qualifications require being born in the United States. Democrats know there is a problem and on the surface, are circling the wagons. But let’s focus on the bigger issue: Why is Trump doing this?

TOPICS: Politics; Reference; Society
KEYWORDS: election; obama; trump
There are many on this side of the political aisle spending as much time trying to figure out Donald Trump’s true motives as there are those on the other side are trying to investigate Trump’s investigators. Like it or not, “The Donald” has successfully changed the political narrative of late.

Since anyone who dares question the birthplace of ‘the one’ as a racist/conspiracy theorist, allow this non-white writer from New York to put on a conspiracy cap and take a whack at it.

We need to go back a few years to an up-and-coming Attorney General named Elliot Spitzer. He played hard ball against the “greed and corruption” that emanates from Lower Manhattan. Every bust, every indictment made him stronger. The suits on Wall Street feared the name. If Spitzer pointed a finger in your direction, you were going down – and going down hard. There were many who wondered if the Wall Street power brokers were going to put up a fight – as it’s a known fact that ‘The Street” doesn’t tolerate threats to their empire lightly.

The conventional wisdom 2 years before the election said he was to be the next governor of the Empire State. And with that, more power was to come with a downstate legislature in his pocket. He virtually ran un-opposed (can you even remember the name of who ran against him?). Talk on the street was if he could do to the rich and powerful as governor what he did to clean up the streets, who knows? 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue? His name did come up in the mix.

Of course, we all know how the story of Client #9 turned out. Spitzer was promptly forced out of office when the slime began to ooze out publicly about his behavior that already had to be known to many on the street.

Let me repeat that…

…behavior that HAD TO BE KNOWN to many on the street. Yes, all this evidence suddenly came up and got legs – shortly after a successful gubernatorial campaign. Wall Street revenge? It was speculated. No matter. Elliot Spitzer – exit stage left.

Fast forward to Barack, Barry, Steve or whatever…

Everyone has their own political opinion. Most of us consider ourselves on one side or the other. But there are among us, the ‘super-political’ - those that play both sides for their own benefit. These are the ones who don’t care who is president and/or what they do, as long as their side of the bread gets buttered. Many of them have names we would recognize – maybe on store fronts, real estate titles, hospitality tents at political conventions, major trading or holding companies, etc. Safe to say Donald Trump would be among those names.

Many in America have witnessed the record number of campaign promises that have been broken by the man who now occupies the office of President. Even his ‘supporters’ know this. Many of then have been brushed aside (read: lied to) as well. The man is on a spending and power trip, with no end in sight. The grievances have been so many, that some have forgotten the early attacks on Wall Street. Not just words, but legislation, red tape and executive orders; to the point where legitimate profit making has become all but impossible. Most of those evil bailouts we’ve learned recently went to folks overseas.

Even the former governor, Democrat David Patterson, pleaded with the current administration to back off from the heavy handed tactics against Wall Street, as it was known that much of the state’s revenue was derived from those ‘fat cats’ on The Street. But like many others, he too was given the middle finger from The Oval Office. Has it not become clear that the “man-child” has become drunk with power?

Enter stage right: The Donald – Wall Street Ambassador, if you will. Trump has amassed his billions on the Vegas Principle: The house always wins. Among the king deal makers on the street, Trump never makes a move without knowing the outcome, or showing what’s in his hand. This is not high praise, just the word on the street, not to mention the man has a documented history (that isn’t sealed by executive order).

Each day, Trump turns up the burner on what may cook the great community organizer. The heat won’t stop anytime soon. This writer’s media experience allows me to share this: Nothing in media gets published by accident. When Trump’s response to a New York Times columnist was allowed to be published, it officially gave legs to the scandal of the missing birth certificate – which is just the tip of the iceberg.

Dude: You think they didn’t already have the goods on you?

By the time the narrative reaches the level of college transcripts and social security numbers that would flag even a local cop to the possibility of fraud, Air Force One might find itself making a first time ever trip to a county called Exile.

Go ahead. Play the race card. But each accusation becomes weaker as each black man, Hispanic woman, white taxpayer, or illegal immigrant fills a gas tank. Fact is, the questions over citizenship would probably be a non-issue if the subject in question actually acted like an American and/or began looking out for America’s best interests. If we need to engage the other side in a conversation over eligibility of the office, $5.00 or $6.00 a gallon is a good way to break the ice while standing at the pump.

It’s all speculation of course. But it would make sense that enough enemies have been made with enough deep pockets to cause pushback from ‘The Street’. They already heard from Main Street last November. Now, they could be hearing from folks with more ‘skin in the game’.

Bet you folks in the White House miss Sarah Palin right now.

Do not assume Trump is the savior of the GOP. He and his ilk don’t play the blue-state/red-state game. They play for keeps. But safe to say there are more than a few oil executives, allies overseas and probably a few democrats more than willing to keep this narrative on the uptick. The Man in Washington said he never listened to his pastor for 20 years in the pews. Perhaps he should have, especially when the good reverend Jeremiah Wright said, “The chickens are coming home to roost”.

The basic premise is sound—that Trump has a vendetta against Obama. I don’t know if he represents any conglomerated interests or just his own, but I think it’s personal (or business.) It’s not political.

The burning question for me has always been:

“Why won't someone step up to the plate on this issue?”

Well, finally someone has and I don't care if it is Donald Trump or someone else...!

Dragging the MSM, kicking and screaming, to discuss this issue is shameful enough ... we don't need question the motives of anyone who has succeeded in reminding the MSM of their responsibility.

He’s just an old fashioned “stalking horse” for the GOP. He’ll take a shot if he gets it, but don’t read into it more than that.

The basic premise is sound—that Trump has a vendetta against Obama.

Then, failing to get the GOP nomination, Trump goes indie and all the birther talk dissipates as he directs his attacks at the GOPer. With the GOP irreparably splintered, Obama glides to a landslide reelection.

Good reasoning, explained very well. I’m in agreement with your speculations.

Very good reasoning, except the writer assumes that Obama has betrayed the Banksters.

He hasn’t. We didn’t have Pecora Hearings about Fraudclosure or the Banksters’ peddling of Liar’s Loans and whatnot because Obama has blocked that kind of thing all through his career, while the media looked the other way.

Obama was always the ally of the Banksters. However, he was always the poodle of one: George Soros. What may be going on is a Banksters’ Civil War, as others fall out with Soros over the next stage of the Currency War: Fiat Money or a return to Gold.

In return for Obama’s assistance in blocking any investigations and real reform of the currency and a return to Sound Money, Soros and his allies continued their looting of the country and their investments overseas.

Trump is the Front for other interests. Let’s see where this goes.

I have a different take on this. Hillary! Weaken Obama to the point of empty suit. Keep punching, and Hillary rides in on White Horse. Why you ask? Trump’s agent is Rahm’s brother, look over Trump’s contributions to candidates in past. Demorats. Guess who is a friend to Trump? Clintons. He looks to all that he is running to either run, or to pave way for another Republican. Not! Then he says might run as Indy, great! Split Repub vote. In walks Hill. This is how I see it anyway. Color me a conspircy Theorist or whatever, but I don’t trust Trump.

I remember when Obama dissed Las Vegas, wasn’t Trump in the middle of building his big new casino. -$$$$$$$$$$$$$.

Didn’t Obama diss Atlantic City also? -$$$$$$$$$$$$.

Not to mention the economy since Obama took office. I’ll bet Trump has lost more money in the last 2 1/2 years than at any other time in his life.

This is PERSONAL!!!!! ($$$$$$$$$ bye-bye)

I think the GOP is probably already irreparably splintered.

The “senior” GOP congress is certainly trying to control the new freshman members.

How would the GOP deal with a Tea Party candidate.

That, IMHO, is not out of the question.

Don’t forget that Trump presented an offer to the Obama Admin to construct a $30mil grand ballroom addition to the Whitehouse as a gift to the country. They have never even acknowleged his offer. I’m sure he is somewhat peeved.

.

I don’t think Trump intends to run. He’s using the ‘possible candidate’ platform to rattle the Marxist/Muslim’s cage.

I think he has caught on the fraud and wants to be the one to bring down Obongo and go down in the history books.

GO TRUMP!!

The facts re; BC fraud, Obama not natural born citizen:

Well....Trump as president is a LOT more palatable to the Fascist Axis between Washington and New York....than a candidate of We the People who would invoke Constitutional Government.

Trump WILL be their savior...while being marketed and sold as savior to We the People.

By 2012 that will be easy..as all he will have to do is drop gas from 5.00/gal to 3.00/gal

This is the only likely/ most likely explanation for the Trump phenomenon.
