More Horse-Sense from Trump

With Donald Trump topping the latest
CNN/OpEdRe Poll, a few choice quotes...
_________________________________________________________________________________

"I hate what's happening to the country"

"The US border with Mexico is a joke... it should be militarized so that no illegal immigrants can come in. Moreover, doing so would stop the burgeoning US-Mexico trade in illegal drugs"

"(Pakistan) knows where Bin Laden is... cut off all aid until they hand him over"

"I am opposed to gay marriage... causes me trouble in New York, but I just don't feel right about it".

"Well, there is a Muslim problem... all you have to do is turn on your TV... Unfortunately, at this point in time, there is a Muslim problem in the world... you know it and I know it."

"I didn't notice Swedish people knocking down the World Trade Center."

"That (GZM) was so insensitive- keep in mind, that's my territory -Manhattan real estate- and when they announced the Mosque in that location- I couldn't believe it."

"There's something out there... that brings a level of hostility that I've never seen in any religion.  You can say what you want about the Koran.... there's something there, there is tremendous hatred... and tremendous hatred of usI look at Iraq... we spent all this money and all those lives- they hate us!  These people hate us, they can't get rid of us fast enough."

"(Obama) may have a birth certificate... but maybe there's something on there, maybe he's a Muslim..."

"I would tell China that you're either going to shape up, or I'm going to tax you at 25% (tariffs) for all the products you send into this country.... I'm all for free trade, but it's gotta be fair trade"

"What's protectionism? They're making $300B! I want some protection, if that's the case... The fact is that China has taken advantage of our leaders for long time, but they're having a field day with Obama... a total field day."

"This year they're going to make $300B on us alone- but guess what: that's either going to equalize, or
WE DON'T NEED CHINA."

"Whether or not we should have been in Iraq, that's one question- but we're there. Iran will take over Iraq the day we leave... Iran is already talking to those people..."

"We will make a fortune... There are 15 trillion dollars worth of oil in Iraq...  we are not going to hand that oil to Iran."

"As soon as we leave Iraq, Iran is going to go and take over Iraq and take over those huge oil fields the oil -2nd largest to Saudi Arabia. That would never happen -believe me- if it were up to me."

"Nobody knows who the (Benghazi) rebels are... I hear they're tied to Iran, I hear they're tied to Al Qaida. I'd have to find out who the rebels are first, but I'll tell you what: I'm only interested in Libya if we take the oil. If we don't take the oil, I have no interest in Libya."

"Unlike our leaders, the Chinese leaders are intelligent... of course they're interested in the (Libyan) oil. We're not interested in the oil because we don't have the right leadership."

"We're not respected, we're going down. China is taking things over -they're taking our jobs, they're taking our money. Then after they take our money, they're loaning it back to us and we pay interest. They're manipulating their currency, they make it very hard for our companies to compete"

"This country has never been so low- we've never been at a low point like we are now."

Another item of note: Trump is showing confidence in the brave democrats of Georgia, investing in a new luxury development sure to provide Tbilisi a much-need economic and morale boost after the way the Russians have been slapping them around the last couple years.

At least one American is lending a hand while this unprincipled squirrel Obama licks Vladimir Putin's rear end and sells out yet another freedom-loving friend of the United States...

Trump in so many things he says just makes too much sense and says the things that those in DC are too scared to say in public since more worried about votes and power. Basically, Trump will not be seen as presidential to many because he doesn’t say a bunch of nothing like most of our politicians do and have done for years. I don’t think he can win because of that, but I will enjoy him making the others squirm.

Nice one. People should actually listen to what he’s saying instead of crapping all over him when he hasn’t even announced that he’s running for office yet.

This is a good quote: “I didn’t notice Swedish people knocking down the World Trade Center.”

Somebody try and point out any other politician (or any other person on TV) saying we should take Iraq’s oil after investing American dollars in that country.

He speaks and people listen. Can he do the job? I think he can.

If nothing else, he makes the Dems very nervous.

Says he can't do anything until the TV show ends. I think that's about June 1.

Somebody's gotta stuff a sock in Trump's mouth. Next he'll be saying the Emperor's naked!

THAT IS EXACTLY MY POINT

I have NEVER seen more than 15 mins of Trump’s show... and just that once!

I only listen to what he says, look at the platform, admire the courage and obviously sincere patriotism... Trump loves this freaking country, why wouldn’t he...?

But above all, WE MUST WIN THIS ELECTION... and Trump is a PROVEN winner

If you want to camouflage comb-over boy as a conservative, you better make sure you keep focused on quotes from just the last few months!

After what our Military has done, we shouldn’t just leave it all for Iran. He’s right. He thinks like a businessman.

America’s Morning News had a political ‘expert’ on this morning praising Romney; condemning Trump as a quack. Said Trump was un-electable but Romney has what it takes to defeat Obama.

...the drama begins...

Reagan was a democrat for years, and I Guiliani promised a pro life and anti gay marriage platform as Trump is doing... I would have supported him, frankly.

I don’t know Donald Trump to be intentionally dishonest, and he offers very clear examples of why he has switched to a pro-life platform, not least of which is his Christian faith and the lesson that friends who had unwanted children grew to adore them as God’s greatest gift.

You know, to me Trump is far more principled and frank about his platform and how he got there than Newt, Mitt, Huckster, et. al

And don’t tell me “Pawlenty”- guy’s go the personality of a parking meter lol

The pubbies have had the Trump points for as long as he has had them. The only thing is the front running pubbies can’t say them. They want to be all things to all people.

Trump is stating all of the things that we, Conservatives, spend hours screaming at our television for our so-called Repubic elected officials to state. Yet, so many people just willy-nilly dismiss him. Does that make much sense? Would I have considered Trump to be the ‘dark-horse’ candidate a year ago or two years ago? NO, he was not even in my realm of thought. However, he is addressing the issues that resonate with me. He knows when he’s getting screwed in a deal - does Obama or even Boehner?

I am open to his candidacy at this point. I find it a bit refreshing to see someone tackle the right issues head on without fear of possible MSM scrutiny - he just doesn’t give a damn. Good! Sure, he is no stranger to smokey, backroom, wink and nod deals - he could not have achieved what he has without the ability to maneuver the political scene. I find that insight to be a good thing. He knows how the machines operate. Given that he loves this country and is committed to preserving the freedoms and fiscal solvency of our nation, I think we may need someone like Trump.

I’m not going all in to support him yet. It’s too early and the field isn’t yet known. But, I will certainly listen eagerly to his views and await his performance in debates. I’m open to the idea of a President Trump.

I think every one of the possible GOP candidates - including both Huck and Mitt, who I would not vote for - has more personal integrity than Mr. Deal Maker, fast buck, reality star, casino operator, eminent domain vulture, comb-over boy.

He speaks the Truth. He challenges political correctness. He asks the questions that need to be asked. And Obama and his Chicago Thugs and the MSM will not be able to touch him.

I love it. Get the popcorn.

Trump may have trouble explaining to conservatives why, if he’s against Obamacare... why did he contribute money to the re-election campaign of Anthony Weiner, one of the health care bill’s self-proclaimed authors?

If Trump’s against gun control (or corruption for that matter), why the contribution to Charles Rangel, who rates an “F” on gun rights from the NRA (as does Weiner and others on The Donald’s donation list)?

Trump says he’s pro-life, but has given money to Hillary Clinton and Chuck Schumer — two politicians who make thrills go up NARAL’s leg.

Trump’s contributed money to the campaigns of Frank Lautenberg, Ted Kennedy, Patrick Kennedy, Harry Reid, Arlen Specter and Dick Durbin — so much for the “lower taxes” concern. Could a true “conservative” have brought himself to sign any of those donation checks without slitting his wrists with the pen afterwards?

The Donald does what is good for The Donald, that is why he is successful. Wouldn’t it be nice to have a President that would do what was good for it’s citizens?

My favs...

On Lybia: "Unless we get the oil, I have no interest in Libya."

On Iraq: "In the old days when you had a war, when you won the war, you won. If they had oil, if they had diamonds, if they had gold - What's going to happen in Iraq is absolutely amazing, two minutes after we leave, Iran is going to take over the great oil fields of Iraq. If I'm president at the time, Iran is not taking over the Iraqi oil fields, we will."

The Trump Doctrine. Will fight for your freedom. You pay us in (free) oil. LOL!

The Donald is a businessman first and foremost, not a politician. He will spread it around to make sure he has whoever’s ear he needs. He has one goal and one goal only, to make money.

And quite frankly, while all of us here knew Obama would be a nightmare, I don’t think anyone in their wildest imagination could have predicted this. Anybody who is honest, be it Republican, Conservative, Libertarian, Independent or even some Democrats have to be absolutely horrified by what is happening now.
