Tina Fey, the former Saturday Night Live writer and creator of the hit show “30 Rock,” had a profanity-laced story to tell Tuesday about Sen. Al Franken’s courtship during the 2008 campaign.
Fey, who is promoting her new book “Bossypants,” told a Philadelphia audience that Franken, a former SNL colleague, wanted her to contribute to his Senate campaign, the Philadelphia Daily News reported. She didn’t donate.
After Franken won the election, Fey said she texted Franken: “See, you didn’t need my $4,000 to win after all.”
Franken shot back a two-word response that began with an F-bomb.

I remember reading during one of the earlier elections that she was a registered Independent, or at least she described herself as an independent (which is probably the funniest thing she has ever actually said or written).

Is this the best she can do to sell her insipid “Bossypants”???? I can’t imagine the profile of somoene who would buy this POS book. What made her think anyone gives a s___t abotu what’s going on in her life, or that Al Franken texted “F-U” to her?
If she really wants to sell this book, she needs to tell the stories about how Franken came into the SNL writing meetings and berated people and tried to get people fired.

He is a deeply unhappy and nasty person. I’ve read that pretty much everyone who has ever worked with him hates his guts. I suspect that Fey shares his politics but loathes him as an individual.
