Miners from Chile might never get to the bottom of the 'Birther' issue. Charges fly back and forth pushing all the hot topic buttons. But no candidate or 'journolist' will do just a modicum of research.
A blogger from the "Fellowship of the Minds" blogsite has compared the wording of the Hawaii Democratic Party Certification of Nomination for Presidential Candidates in 2000, 2004, and 2008.
In 2000 (Gore and Lieberman) and 2004 (Kerry and Edwards), this was the wording in the official certification:
"This is to certify that the following candidates for President and Vice President of the United States are legally qualified to serve under the provisions of the 'United States Constitution and are the duly chosen candidates of both the state' and the national Democratic Parties by balloting at the Presidential Preference Poll and Caucus held _____ in the State of Hawaii and by acclamation at the National Democratic Convention held ______ in _______."
This is the wording of the 2008 certification of the Hawaii Democrat Party for Obama:
"This is to certify that the following candidates for President and Vice President of the United States are legally qualified to serve under the provisions of the national Democratic Parties balloting at the Presidential Preferences Poll and Caucus held on February 19, 2008 in the State of Hawaii and by acclamation at the National Democratic Convention held August 27, 2008 in Denver, Colorado."
The 2008 certification of Obama left out these words:
“of the United States Constitution and are the duly chosen candidates of both the state and”
By omitting these vital words, is the Democrat Party of Hawaii saying that Obama is not eligible to constitutionally serve as president of the United States?
These are the kind of irrefutable facts that have to be made public. When Stephanopolous waves the meaningless COLB, he needs to have Hawaii's certification shoved in his face.
It is also of interest to note that although most Democrat Electoral College electors were aware of this Hawaii eligibility issue, not one elector raised an objection.
Nor on January 6th, 2009 when Congress voted to certify the election by the Electoral College, did any congressman, as was his duty, question the state of Hawaii's certification.
These are the kind of actual facts that need to be thrown back to the Stephanopolous's who wave COLB's in the face of our candidates.
We have facts with which we can confront the compliant media. With Corsi's upcoming book we should have a lot more. The media has marginalized the 'Birthers.' The best counterattack is with facts instead of accusations to which Obama will never comply, and the media will ridicule.

I've heard this quite a few times and seen what is reported to be an official document that does not include the above words. What I don't know is, is it all true and how do we get a copy of the official 2008 certification document?

The Constitution is no longer the law in case you have not noticed. I am sure that somewhere is some fine print we have all waived it.

Just some thoughts on the Obama birth certificate displayed by Stephanopoulos:
1. Obama's Fight the smears site: I went to Obama's fight the smears site to look at his short form birth certificate where the number is blacked out.
2. I then went to the FactCheck site that Stephanopoulos referred us to, where the number on Obama's short form birth certificate is NOT blacked out. The article is dated 2008.
3. To me, the Obama short form birth certificate that I see on Obama's fight the smears site does not have a visible seal, RAISED or not RAISED, while, the FactCheck birth certificate suddenly has a barely visible RAISED seal. Why does one birth certificate seem to be missing a seal, while another one---supposedly the exact same birth certificate--suddenly has a visible RAISED seal? What is going on?
4. I can't help but find the following information funny: Famous tv person Stephanopoulos and other famous tv people have to go to obscure, lowly website FactCheck---Stephanopoulos refers us to the FactCheck article published in 2008, which is about 3 years old---and Obama's own fight the smears site to download a copy of Obama's so-called birth certificate.
5. I find the above information so funny for this reason: Stephanopoulos and his powerful, world-wide ABC network and other world-wide news networks like FoxNews, CNN,CBS, and NBC can't obtain their own copies of Obama's short form birth certificate because Obama won't give it them, even though the one displayed on FactCheck is from 2008, which is about 3 years old.
6. So instead of being able to confront people like Trump with their own copy of Obama's short form birth certificate, these powerful, giant world-wide news organizations have to go to an obscure, tiny internet website that most people in the world---especially those people who have no access to a computer and the internet--- have never heard of to download a so-called copy of Obama's short form birth certificate that is about 3 years old whenever they need one to hold up to people like Trump and Bachmann.
7. My point is this: I don't understand why in the past 3 years Obama---out of a sense of being courteous---has NEVER sent a copy of his short form birth certificate---one with a raised Hawaii seal---to all the major networks so that they don't have to continually humiliate themselves by having to download one from FactCheck and/or Obama's fight the smears site every time they needed one.
8. Yes, if I were the head of a major news organization like FoxNews and CNN, I would be so angry that even after 3 years have passed since FactCheck supposedly examined Obama's short form birth certificate, the Obama camp has yet to send major news organizations their own copies of Obama's short form birth certificate--- one with the Hawaii raised seal---so that major news organizations didn't have to download a copy of Obama's short form birth certificate from either obscure FactCheck or from Obama's fight the smears website.
Yes, I would be very angry indeed at the way the Obama camp was treating me, if I were a top official at a major news organization like FoxNews and CNN.
9. I can't help but find it very weird behavior that the Obama camp is still reluctant to send major news organizations and tv networks their own Obama short form birth certificate after 3 years have passed since they allowed obscure FactCheck to touch and examine it up close.
10. And I bet that the news networks won't get their own copy of Obama's short form birth certificate before election day Nov. 2012 no matter how much or how hard they ask Obama's camp for a copy.
11. To me, if the Obama camp never sends the major news organizations a copy of Obama's short form birth certificate that we see on Obama's fight the smears site, then I can only conclude one thing: The Obama camp does not want major news organizations to get their hands on Obama's short form birth certificate, because the Obama camp fears that the major news organizations will find something wrong with the short form birth certificate that will do serious damage to Obama's presidential campaign.
If every state signed the form the democrat party provided, then there isn’t a single state that did certify that he is Constitutionally eligible to be President. They all covered their butts in case it fell apart during the campaign. The democrat party kept the original document and made a different one to send to the states for them to sign. This is no simple hat trick by a con man, this is a coup by the democrat party to take over the Presidency and install single party rule.
All I can say is the same thing I said the evening of the election, there will be blood.

I am astounded how they all just fall in line.
No questioning. No objectivity. No digging into their guys. Just personal destruction of anyone who would dare to challenge their collective thought.
Sad to say, I’ve come to expect that from ‘journolists,’ but to think that not ONE U.S. democrat senator voted against the Obama health care bill to the detriment of our nation is tantamount to treason. There was not one good man who could find in himself to do what was best for our nation. We have fallen a long ways.
