Donald Trump's "birther" comments are no joke for Jerry Seinfeld.
The 56-year-old comedian has canceled his appearance at a benefit for Donald Trump’s Eric Trump Foundation because the real estate mogul has been questioning whether President Obama was born in America.

Seinfeld was expected to attend the September 13 event benefiting St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, but his rep tells CNN that Seinfeld has indeed pulled out of the engagement because of the remarks Trump has been making about the President.
Trump responded to Seinfeld’s move with a letter, writing, "I just learned you canceled a show for my son's charity, The Eric Trump Foundation, which benefits the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital (children with cancer) because of the fact that you think I am being very aggressive with respect to President Obama, who is doing an absolutely terrible job as our leader - just look at Libya, our economy, gas, food, and clothing prices and maybe you will understand what is going on!"
It’s not so much that Seinfeld pulled out of the benefit, Trump goes on, although “the children of St. Jude are very disappointed" and "Bret Michaels, disgusted by what happened, is taking over."
"What I do feel badly about is that I agreed to do, and did, your failed show, 'The Marriage Ref,' even though I thought it was absolutely terrible,” Trump wrote. “Despite its poor ratings, I didn't cancel on you like you canceled on my son and St. Jude. I only wish I did."
Seinfeld had agreed to do the benefit back in January, but according to his manager, he became “increasingly uncomfortable” with Trump’s questioning of Obama’s citizenship.....

Jerry is another jewish man who voted for Hussein’s hatered of Israel. He’s also very selfish not doing the benefit for the children. Yes, I said it, for the children. If he is so small minded that he can’t separate politics from children’s lives then he shouldn’t be there. I never liked him or his show.
Give kudos to Bret who saw the need and graciously stepped up to the plate.
Bret Michaels filled in for the event. Done with Seinfeld now...and may just have to buy a Bret Michaels solo record.
Oy vey!! For the umpteenth time, it is NOT about his citizenship!! It is about whether of not he is qualified under Section 1 Article 2 of the Constitution of the U.S. as a Natural Born Citizen. Citizenship has nothing to do with that.
I refer to this guy as Seinfraud, never in recorded history has someone gone so far with so little talent IMO. An upper eastside lefty from the get go. If he wants to keep kissing (.)bama’s ass, let it be so but to cancel an appearance at a worthwhile CHARITY event because he is concerned about the host’s politics is beyond the pale. He, his porcheas and his child bride can go to hell and I wish Trump had been so direct.

I can understand Seinfield cancelling for that. Seinfield is an obama worshipper like the other parasites, American haters, fools and idiots. They worship the ground that he walks on, they kiss the ground where he pisses. The fact that he holds them in the basests of contempt is lost on them. The one thing that holds him near and dear to them is that he hates Amereica as much as they do.

Seinfeld seems unable to detach his professional and philamtrampic life from his personal and political feelings. Why so touchy if this is a non-issue?

Trump really makes me mad...on one hand, the guy speaks his mind firmly and confidently, something we’re seriously lacking in our leadership. And he seems to “get it” with a couple major problems nobody is talking about.
But his past, his donations, his inexperience in the meat of politics, etc...and even his brash personality, downright turns off a lot of people.
Plus he’s not all that conservative overall...yet, see my tagline.
Ugh. The whole thing would make me pull my hair out if nature hadn’t done that for me.
