Real estate mogul/reality TV star Donald Trump, who is considering a bid for the Republican presidential nomination, has fond feelings for the 2008 nominee, Sen. John McCain of Arizona. The Donald makes that clear in an interview with McCain’s daughter Meghan for The Daily Beast.
“I like you and I like your father, I’ll tell you. And I like your mother. I like your whole family. Hey, look, I supported your family, right?” Trump says.
“To be honest with you, Bush made it so bad that Abraham Lincoln couldn’t have beaten Obama. The world was crashing! If you remember six months before, your father was way up.”

Old news but good to get it out for those who still believe that Donald Trump is a ‘conservative’. He is not. Necer was and never will be. Fun to watch him bash Obama - but that’s about all he’s good for.

And have you noticed that obamma is not coming out attacking him, after Trump criticizes obamma? I think obamma is keeping quiet so Trump can build up his support within the Republican party. Trump is a deceiver, imho.
This is funny. Earlier today on another post I said that if you liked McCain, you’ll LOVE Trump. Guess I nailed that one.
And worse than liking John, is sucking up to his air head idiot daughter.
It is really very simple, I am surprised so many missed it. McCain never had a chance to screw up the country as commander in chief.
Bush43 on the other hand started 2 wars costing nearly 2 Trillion dollars and many casualties of brave young soldiers. And what did we get out of it? More debt to China. Bush fought the wars with borrowed money. I give him some credit for starting the Afghan war since 911 attackers had headquarters there and he kept the war small. But Iraq war was height of stupidity. And he did not get us 1 barrel of oil from that huge investment in blood & treasure.
The next awful Bush mistake was to run like a chicken with head cut off toward TARP. He was incapable of understanding how Paulson was after bailing out his buddies from Goldman Sachs and other Wall Street bankers.
So, I concur with Trump’s assessment of Bush43. As for McCain, Trump was talking to his daughter! What did you want him to say, I hate your father to his daughter?
The only way Trump can help Obama is run as an independent.
He was telling Hannity the other day he intends to do that, if he does not win the Republican nomination.
I saw that segment and Trump prefaced it by saying he would run as an independent only if polls were clearly showing him ahead in general in a 3 way contest.
