Herman Cain Wow!!
05/05/11 | Julie Pierson

Herman Cain was unbelievable! Just when we were afraid to face yet another stuff and fluff election, along comes a rare and unusual anomaly. A candidate with a BRAIN! He can speak without sounding like a rehearsed speechmaker and cut to the chase like a General in combat faced with life and death decisions. He gives Americans something we have lacked for years....HOPE!

Simply because the noobie isn’t kissing the butt of Palin doesn’t mean she is a troll. Perhaps you should take time to listen to Cain. Don’t keep you head buried up Pain’s butt so far you don’t hear the words of other excellent candidates.

"I appreciate your view of military service applying to those who have truly served."

Ah, it's not my view of military service that precipitated my reply. And, while I don't intend offense, I think you missed my point.

In the history of the country, America has NEVER elected a president who didn't previously have any elected office experience, save for the five exceptions that I outlined. That's not my opinion, that's just the reality.

Sure, H. Ross Perot came as close as anyone, especially before he imploded. Of course, Perot had a record to run on that dwarfs Cain's - and really dwarfs just about anyone. He literally created a company out of whole cloth, and turned into into a billion-dollar business that employed well-over 100K people. That is like being a general of a large army. Cain doesn't have that kind of CV.

“Zero” brought to the table something the current administration can’t seem to produce. A PLAN!

Yep. He was pathetic. Hannity made it worse for him after the debate, asked him whether sleep deprivation was torture. Prolonged silence, then a fumble, stumble, non-answer. I could hear what few ligaments he still had tearing up on him. That had to hurt. I fear he won’t be back for the rest of the game.

Good to see he is doing well. I’ve been listening to him for years on the radio. He was not always on but would sub for Neal Boortz.

He certainly has good understanding of the issues. I think maybe 1 time I disagreed with him? That is a maybe. The guy is solid.

I’m sure the media and press will go after him just like Palin, Trump, etc.. if they view him as a threat to Obama.

An Obama vs Cain race sure would be interesting. Two African-Americans, one gravy-train and one boot-straps.

All I heard was him parroting most of what Palin's been saying for two years.

I could have done that.

"Running a successful business is not serving the public???"

I guess if you consider serving pizza "serving the public..."

Now that it has been announced that 51% of all the Households in this Country pay NO Federal Income Tax, it's time to institute a Flat Tax.

The Tyranny of the Majority has arrived.

The affirmative-action wing of FR doesn't care about Cain's ZERO public service experience.

Public sector employment is a negative qualification, until otherwise explained.

No, it’s not.

LOL. I take my car to various businesses to get it serviced. A couple months ago, I called a business to have my HVAC unit serviced. Last night I got great service at a restaurant. On the other hand, I went to a restaurant last week that had horrendous service. And I'm about to tell my cable company to push off because its service sucks....

But, whatever.

I was out and missed the debate. I arrived home and my wife, who had never heard of Herman Cain, had watched the debate and was raving about him.

Cain's ZERO public service experience.

You couldn't have posted a better endorsement for his nomination.
