Why I’m not excited about Herman Cain

Yep, the same thing is happening on his FB page. I guess Paul “put out the call”. They did the same thing when he announced his exploratory committee.

The two big issues the Paul supporters are attacking Herman on are TARP and not auditing the Fed. He had a statement the day it was suggested, but as soon as the details came out he was firmly AGAINST it. He wrote several columns railing against TARP and the stimulus as well. He has always been against big government spending and waste.

They also never mention that Cain is for a gold standard as well as congressional oversight of the Fed. He said that he would not stand in Paul’s way if he wanted to audit the Fed, even.

What I believe after putting up with this garbage for months on end, is that when someone’s candidate is weak, they try to build them up by spreading lies and bashing another candidate. In fact, there are some candidates I hope Cain would never choose as VP because their supporters are vile and hateful. This is a time to come together, not tear each other apart.

Why is it so-called conservatives spend so much time discussing why we should not be supporting other conservatives. Yet they spend no time on the evils of the RINO libs running.

I’d much rather spend time making everyone aware of the socialist qualities of the elitist RINOs like crap and tax Pawlenty; social conservatives on the back of the bus Daniels; Pelosi loving greenie Gingrich; socialist, RINO, lib, father of gay marriage and Obamacare — Romney; Obama team player Huntsman; and any other RINO, liberal, elitist, anti-gun, pro-amnesty clown the country clubbers decide to throw out there. I’m tired of so-called conservatives attacking one of their own, whether it be Cain or Palin. Go after the real enemies — the RINOs and dems. Let ‘we the people’ decide which of the conservatives we want nominated.

To all out there who will state over and over that we need to choose someone who can win — let the people decide who can win. Eliminating conservatives early only get us McCain again. Because Romney, Daniels, Pawlenty, et. al can win./ [heavy sarcasm]

I had more to say but I see that this is obviously part of a coordinated Paultard attack. I see no need to go on as Ron Paul is a loon and his Stormfront friends would never consider voting for Cain or Palin.

His statements were about auditing were about the regional fed banks and the fed books, which are already audited. He has made it clear he wants their policies and influence with the Treasury dept. dealt with.

If you’ve never ventured into the Paultard wasteland, you should check it out. They have no problem twisting the truth for their own purpose and they actually project when and where they will it (such as campaigns to hit facebook comments with X message on Y day, etc)..

Exactly. He has been more than clear on this subject. They hear what they want to hear.

On a positive note - on Erick Erickson’s show, Herman Cain said he will make a “big announcement” May 21 at 12:00 PM in Centennial Olympic Park in Atlanta!

This is it, you’re not going to want to miss this :-)

Did Cain back TARP?

Is TARP a “rousing success”, as Cain seems to believe?

Is the nationalizing of banks and other businesses a “good thing”?

I’m trying to figure out how anyone who thinks TARP was a great idea could be a ‘friend” of the TEA party folks.

That reminds me of the philosophy that gets us RINOs in office... the old “electable” badge. Unfortunately, that old “able to win” tag gets translated into “willing to compromise at any cost”.

He doesn't want OBL's death pics released????

That kind of "pussy-footing" does not bode well.

First.. Barry Obama is a totally unqualified POTUS.

Second.. When a candidate is dismissed, I start liking him more. This post is a terd in the punch bowl. It's ok to disagree on issues. Which is where we are. Gotta love Herman for his courage if nothing else.

The rats have code pink and we have paultards. Just different sides of the same coin. Have you ever seen during election season how these idiots infiltrate and ruin a perfectly good Nascar race? Truth is meaningless to those who are inspired by religious fervor. I agree with probably 95% of Ron Paul’s positions. The other 5% are his followers.

Tisk,Tisk...sounds to me like you liberals are trying to discredit Mr.Cain! Could it be that he makes your zero even more stupid. Maybe time to throw away your old and tired democrap playbook....we grow weary of hearing the same bull crap. Think truth for a real change one can believe in.

Many don’t realize that this isn’t the first time Cain, who once served as chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City

The word I have from a one of the guys on our state Republican executive committee is that Cain is a Federal Reserve insider, who was all for TARP and the bailouts. The Fed is wrecking our economy, folks. Cain has a lot to answer for before he gets my vote.

1) Cain did not back TARP, he knows it wasn’t a success (before it happened)
2)He’s not for ‘nationalizing’ banks, he’s for buying stock in them
3) The Tea Party loves Cain, they know Cain, and they understand exactly where Cain is ‘at’.

Ron Paul is just flat sleazy and putting out garbage. I have him on facebook, and his believers are like the Muslims...or worse. Today RP put on his facebook wall a notice to all supporters to go and vote on the Fox News Poll Re: The Debate, and vote MULTIPLE TIMES! The sheeple followers were teaching each other how to clear their cookies so the pollsite would not recognize their votes and KEEP VOTING! These staunch conservatives rant about voter fraud, and then they’re ok with cheating on something as trivial as a poll. A really high lack of character in my view. What else do they cheat on? Wives, paying family back borrowed money, gluing a fake registration sticker on their car?

I’ve seen lots of time Freepers notices to ‘go Freep this poll’, but I’ve never seen anybody instruct to VOTE MULTIPLE TIMES and fake out the polls!

I’m not a Paul fan... figured him out when he was proven to be two-face.... he is an earmark queen, yet supposedly is for reigning in government spending? That and his conspiracy theory mentality regarding everything.

The word I have from a one of the guys on our state Republican executive committee...

More like the Ron Paul camp talking points you have been reading. First, (as pointed out many times), the Kansas Federal Reserve bank that Cain chaired is NOT the same as the US Federal Reserve. Regional Reserve banks have no influence over monetary policy or 'printing' money. Regional Reserve banks are only responsible for moving money between banks, clearing checks, and making sure banks' books are clean. Comparing a Regional Reserve bank to the US Federal Reserve is like comparing your local credit union to AIG.

Next, and as pointed out also several times here, Cain was a strong opponent of TARP. He made one statement about one small portion of TARP before it was ever implemented that everyone is twisting. After TARP was launched, he was very vocal against it.

Not everyone who dislikes Cain are racist.

But a majority of Paulist I've met are some of the most rudest and crudes individuals I know! Looks to me that they are bring out the same playbook they used against Fred Thompson in the last election. Many as a member of a number of Fred Thompson boards at the time I know what I am talking about. They spammed the zotted the boards constantly! They were like cockroaches the moderators would ban one and three would crawl out of the woodwork. And the funnest thing was within an hour of Fred's withdraw from the race they were back on the boards begging and tell us how we need to support Paul because of how much his stands on the issues matched Fred's! Anyone who has the support of such low life SOB's will NEVER NEVER GET MY VOTE!

It doesn’t matter what poll Ron Paul wins when he’ll never get more than 2% of the actual vote come election day.

This is how we end up with milquetoast candidates like McCain, Dole and Ford. Good luck with Huckamneylenty next year!
