Speaking of winning, last night my wife and I went to the casino for the first time in a long time. The reason is that on Friday the local newspaper had coupon peelies for $25 of free play for existing players at the Seminole Casino Hollywood. What was unusual is that the free play offerings are usually for new players, not existing players. Anyway, armed with the $50 in free play, ($25 for each of us) she hit the sacred Three Sphinxes on the Cleopatra machine giving her 15 free spins plus triple winnings. She ended up winning $85 for the night. The strange thing is she almost ALWAYS wins at the casino which is why I let her play my free play. About the only time I remember her losing was when she lost $16 and went into a complete funk while morosely saying "I don't like losing."
Yeah but you only lost 16 bucks and won all the other times. Not a bad track record.
And I sure hope the Seminole Casino continues offering free play coupons in the future. I did hear that Calder Race Track casino is offering free play on Fridays. Hmmmm.....
Remember, you CAN'T lose at the casino if you gamble only with free play.
Obviously this lawyer DUmmie is NOT a candidate for home schooling his kids. That would mean having to spend time with them which is a big no-no for him.
You talkin' about these people?
First, it's "between my wife and myself". Second it's "a series hit". Third, Obama called and he said it's too bad you were punished with a baby but call him and he will work out all your life's problems for you because you are obviously incapable of solving your own problems for yourself.
Interesting this DUmmie felt it necessary to clarify for his fellow DUmmies that he was talking about busing and not helicopter rides.
I can seriously see Mr. Lawyer here strongly considering the “very, very late term abortion” option in this case, due to the inconvenience this situation is causing him.
I love it when the lousy freeper trolls are out in force. This was one of your most entertaining DUFUs ever, Charles.
Sad.
What is even sadder is his oldest kid is still in daycare and is 23 years old...
Hwy, we all have hardships we have to overcome. Either find another school (or homeschool), work out a different schedule or just shut-up and drive and just deal. What about granddad and grandma? If that is the worst problem he has, then he is doing quite well. As the saying goes, “if you can’t feed ‘em, don’t breed ‘em.”
Wow, that’s a rough one.
I feel lucky that I only had to walk 3/4 of a mile each way to my Elementary school, 2 miles each way to JR. high and 1 mile each way to high school until I got my license.
Finally, I love to hear Internet tough guys. When I hear people talking stupid like that I always inform them that there is someone badder, meaner and smarter than them no matter the case and sooner or later, they’re going to run into those rare few you never want to cross.
Jeez, I walked to school when I was in kindergarten.
And guess what, the bleepin' teabaggers already picked this up, like at Dummie Funnies (just mocks not really defends the situation) and Conservative Underground (some there also support my idea of carpooling...but are a bit meaner).
They even give links. Thanx! Hi, DUmmies!
LOL! Dana Carvey sang it best ....

Choppin Broccoli
This one was brilliant Charles, great work!
Well said Condor. When my daughter started (half-day) kindergarten, because I was the breadwinner, I put her in a day-care situation that took her to school and picked her up in the afternoon. It never occurred to me to get a public school bus system implemented, because what good would that have done? Duh!
I thought busing was for integration purposes. Lawyer talk, :P.
Translation: he uses a knife and fork to eat paste.
The end result of the liberal “it’s all about me” mindset.
“And since EVERY PARENT with a child in that school will ALSO be driving his/her child to school that day,”
Sounds like you hate the planet. If you loved mother ghia, you would have automatically defaulted to car pooling and not the expectation of the gov’t to take care of your child.
“An ounce of money for good schools is worth a pound of money for prisons. “
You admit to raising your child with a criminal mindset. It is not surprising considering your sense of entitlement.
“We really need all adults in this country to go through a remedial educational program to understand the whole point of taxes and of collective action. “
In other words, if you don’t agree with a liberal you must not be as smart as they are. Why do we call you all elitists?
“Just ask them if they would prefer educated tax paying people or criminals breaking into their houses. “
Unless of course it is related to criminals breaking into our country illegally. Then your preference is the criminal leeches over the educated tax payer.
