I cannot think of a better time to post this.
Obama is documented and recorded as having nothing but praise for Islam and Muslims and yet disparages Christianity and Americans. This is not conjecture or conspiracy, it is documented fact as you will see.
Before his big surprise speech, let's all rewind a little and see what he himself says about his allgiances and goals. This will help us understand his upcoming speach much better.

In this next video, Obama claims the Jewish/Christian Bible condones slavery and stoning and is therefore unusable. Also, he openly laughs at the 'turn the other cheek' verse, as any good Muslim would. This is alien to them and is beyond their comprehension.
Slavery and Stoning are still practiced today in many Muslim countries. So, when the Muslims actually do it, it is OK. It is beautiful, proper, and correct. When a Christian Bible mentions it in the context of thousands of years ago, somehow that discounts the Christian faith altogether. This guy does realize that Muhammed stole from both the Old and the New Testament to write the Koran, doesn't he?
Also, you notice that whenever he mentions Koran, it is the "Holy Koran". Whenever he speaks of Christianity, it is simply 'the Bible' or 'the Christian Bible'.

The overall take is, Muslims are wonderful, intelligent, beautiful peaceful people. And civilization "owes a debt to Islam and Muslims."
Christians are a stupid, ignorant, people, who do not even know their own Bible. The interesting point here is that a large percentage of Muslims are illiterate and cannot ever read the Koran.

There is no more violently homophobic, violently xenophobic, people on Earth than Muslims. There is no better example of anyone on Earth "bitterly clinging to their religion and their guns" than Muslims.
The sheer hypocrisy of this new fad of praising all things Muslim or Islamic is overwhelming. I would expect it from Obama because he was raised as a Muslim and still is. However, the Liberals, American Left, and the number of American Jews and Christians, jumping on this bandwagon, is inexplicable to me. It is a full denial of the facts and reality slapping them right in the face.

Yeah, what your wrote is great. This anti-West sentiment would have likely come from his father who viewed White Christians as invaders, oppressors, and Colonialists. Many people say this explains Obama's antipathy with Great Britain.
BTW, I was just on another thread and Obama did call for Israel to grant major concessions to the Arabs. Exactly as we all knew he would.

Yeah, the tricky thing is that you can’t be a real muslim and a real marxist at the same time. Given Obama’s background — including in particular his time at Harvard Law when the marxist Critical Legal Studies crowd was in ascendance — I’ve always seen him along those lines. Although in terms of geo-politics rather than religion, I think he favors islam. But he’d throw them off the bus as well when necessary to advance his marxist worldview.
Jeremiah Wright and Michael Pflegher are the ministers he followed as an adult. American-haters, but Christian. I just think Obama drops the Christian part.
In agreement with you, I'm not sure he is a devout practicing Muslim, and I agree that he is a full blown Marxist, but I really do think from his actions and words that he sees himself as a kind of Muslim hero. Again, this could be a fantasy he may have had as a child. A poor half-White/half-American kid in Indonesia.
Secular or not, there is little doubt that he has a strong desire to be respected and adored by Muslims. He has said and done things concerning Islam that no other American President would have ever said or done. JMHO

I remember watching when some news reporter asked about Obamas belief, Obama says quickly “My Muslim faith....”
The reporter with eyes wide open and full of surprise then blurts, “You mean your Christian faith?”
Obama gets the very rare flash of a spark in those dead and lifeless doll eyes of his and continues on as if nothing will ever come from his slip of the tongue.
