Given the news this week regarding the President's speech and Israel, and the Israeli Prime Minister's visit to our country, I'm interested in the reaction of Jewish Americans to these events.

Obama enjoyed an 80% support from Jewish voters in this country in the last election. Will he enjoy the same support in 2012?

What are Jewish American leaders saying about the President's position on the Arab - Israeli Peace talks?

What are you hearing in your local communities? Are your neighbors concerned?

Are American Jews worried about the future of the Jewish State, given the President's policies in the Middle East?

Jews in America are and always will be mostly Democrats. Why I will never understand because Democrats are really more aligned to communism. The Jews suffered mostly from dictators of the world and most dictators follow communism as a pattern for control. Why would they go along with those that wants to wipe them out.

Many leftist Jews feel that Israel is to blame so I don’t see that they will change their view on Obama. FOr the rest of the pro Israeli Democrats, they are brain dead because they continue to support democrats that are hostile to the state of Israel.

I'd say the rift with the Dem Party is growing and not only because of its stance on Israel or even a prevalent antisemitism of the Left.
However, among many, inertia and desire to find any excuse to stay put is quite high.

Take Ed Koch. A reasonable guy, one of the really good mayors in history. He declares he would vote GOP in 2012.

Then he backtracks on the grounds that GOP wants to privatize Medicare. Now, after Obama's outrageous speech, he again proclaims his intend to vote GOP in 2012...

I would not be surprised if after a few Obama’s sweet words on Sunday Koch will return to plantation once again. And that's quite typical, not even considering how flimsy was the excuse w/Medicare in the first place and how incomparable even Koch's worst expectations of that GOP reform to the harm Obama is doing to the country here and abroad.

Jews and Christians alike better wake up; all of them. I keep reading posts pointing out the Liberal Jews who voted for Hussein without any mention of all the Christians that voted for Hussein. Let’s not forget the invitation for Hussein to address Notre Dame despite Hussein’s support for partial-birth abortions!! Hussein’s allies, the Muslim terrorists, want Jews and Christians gone. That’s a reality. If there were no Israel, the Muslim terrorists would be at our front door again. Israel is but a stepping stone in their crusade to conquer the world. Yesterday Hussein disgraced this country and made the USA look weak in the eyes of the world. He disgraced our military by giving credence to and support to the terrorist organization Hamas. Meanwhile, our Congress sits on their thumbs but for a handful of patriots like Col. Allen west.

The American people better wake up and face the reality of whose sitting in our White House and where his loyalties lie. We The People better scrutinize all of Hussein’s Regime and find out what their motivations are as well.

Members of Congress who support this moronic foreign policy must be named and sent packing in November 2012 along with Hussein.

I agree. He didn't take anybody's BS, no matter where it came from.

There are a lot of issues where I would disagree with him, but, issue by issue, you always know where Ed stands.

For a Democrat, he's as honest as it gets.
