I just call it THE OBAMA DEPRESSION.
Even my lib friends are getting annoyed.
8.4% unemployment for black males under Bush? That would be heaven right now for ALL males of any color.
Most employed blacks work for some level of government. Not looking too good for them.

This isn’t very complicated and Sarah will be able to explain it.
It is small businesses, and not large international conglomerates that hire blacks. They are the small dry cleaners, restaurants, etc that will hire the nephew who dropped out of high school, they’ll hire the kid up the street who got caught up with the wrong crowd and their drug activity. This has been done for more than a century in America, will all groups...from the Irish, to the Italians, to the Slovenians. Those with murky backgrounds and credentials will find more favorable treatment in small businesses, willing to give someone a chance.
The large operations, like GE, take the cream of the crop from minority populations in order to fulfill their “minority quotas.” The rest are left to fend for themselves and rely on local connections, like family businesses, willing to give them a shot.
Obama’s WAR on small business, and his clear preference for big business (that will try to fund his re-election) is the reason for all of this.
He turns my stomach.
