More Info A Sanctuary City Legislation rally has been planned for Saturday, June 11th - 3:30pm - 6:30pm on the south steps of the Capitol in Austin.
We are on the verge of getting the sanctuary city legislation our state needs to save lives. Several of our state reps and senators have filed sanctuary city bills and e-verify bills during the special session. It is up to Governor Perry to put them on the agenda and we need to show support for them. This legislation was one of Gov. Perry's pieces of emergency legislation that he wanted.
Bring chairs, water, flags, signs, banners and plenty of patriotic attitude.
Good morning Patriots. I've been getting e-mails asking if the rally was still on since Gov. Perry has put the sanctuary cities issues on the agenda. It is most definitely on. I think It's more important than ever to show up in support for these issues...

I live in Austin and had no idea there was an Austin Capitol.

Scouts Out! Cavalry Ho!
Make it about the TSA bill and the campus carry bill as well. Let's get the whole ball of wax in the game and watch Holder's crew throw fits.
.
I’ll be there if at all possible!
I would really like to see a major rally take place in Houston for being Sanctuary City whom allowed the twice deported illegal who was drunk ,had cocaine,MS 13 gang member, who ran down down and killed the police officer recently. This makes ,I think 4th or 5th officer killed by illegals in Houston. Houston always talks about illegals rights and acts like they are the only ones with human rights, may disobey laws, better life, etc, etc
Bumping.
I’ll try to be there, but will probably have to make a trip out of town.
Ha! Perfect. A bit oversized but still perfect!
Ping.
The reason Austin was chosen is because we are on the verge of getting the legislation signed that may have saved the lives of the last four officers in Houston. Once the sanctuary city legislation is signed (and after it goes through the courts because of the lawsuits), then the cities will be forced to comply.
Can’t wait to see the spin the Austin-American Pravda puts on it.
Of course, I haven’t had a subscription since the late 90s...
I will be there in SPIRIT!
