In an interview Wednesday with CBS News, Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain described homosexuality as a sin and a choice. Appearing on the CBS News web program Washington Unplugged, Cain told CBSNews.com senior political reporter Brian Montopoli I believe homosexuality is a sin because Im a Bible-believing Christian, I believe its a sin, he said. But I know that some people make that choice. Thats their choice.
Montopoli followed up, asking Cain if he thought gays and lesbians were making a choice to be homosexual:
Cain was asked: So you believe its a choice?
I believe it is a choice, he responded.

If engaging in homosexual acts is not a choice, then at least one party participating is being raped.

God bless Herman Cain for bravely and publically stating the truth. Satan’s hounds from hell will be unleashed on him by the media soon. May he endure the attempted onslaught.

Agreed...saw him speak on the steps of the capitol building in Lansing and was very impressed.
I’ve always thought all the “scientific” evidence of homosexuality being a “genetic” issue was just to force its acceptance. Nice try, losers.

This is really, really strong on so many levels:
1. He presents as someone who is not moderate/lukearm/mealy-mouthed.
2. He is not a RINO!
3. He puts the lie to this mindset that equates a state-of-being that can't be changed, i.e. race, to a couse of action which can be changed, i.e. sexual preference.

Good for you Mr. Cain! Such a small percentage of the population yet it is crammed down our throats every day. I am sick of the gay agenda.

Ive always thought all the scientific evidence of homosexuality being a genetic issue was just to force its acceptance.Have you noticed how rapidly these media-invented "scientists" with their so-called "genetic evidence" vanish when their "findings" are peer-reviewed into oblivion.

I think that a majority of Americans agree with Cain on this but the left will, predictably, go bonkers. It should be interesting. Kudos to Herman Cain, who may not be everyone's choice for the 2012 GOP presidential nominee (I prefer Sarah Palin) but who has forthrightly offered an honest answer to a presumed 'gotcha'! question. I'm sure the other candidates will be watching to see the reaction - not from the left, we
know what they'll say - but from average Americans who, although many are conditioned by the leftmedia to respond to the issue of homosexuality
not that there's anything wrong with that (apologies to Jerry Seinfeld) may just use this opportunity to say that Herman Cain - and everyone else - has a right to their opinion on this issue (or any other).
Herman Cain doesn't advocate any special treatment for homosexuals or stoning them, either, he simply believes that their sexual behavior is a choice - and he is correct. Something the 'gay community' opposes because it removes their right to pretend they are 'victims'. A person choosing to engage in homosexual acts is no more a 'victim' than someone who drinks themselves into alcoholism or the person who knowingly 'tries' cocaine or some other highly addictive, illegal drug, quickly becomes addicted and than claims to be a 'victim' of the 'disease' of alcoholism or drug abuse. Drug use is a choice and so is homosexual behavior. There is no 'gay gene'. If there were, we'd have heard about by now.

Christians like Herman CONDEMN what homosexuals do.
Muslims EXECUTE them for it.
