The far left Palin-hating cranks at The Guardian reported this week that aides to Margaret Thatcher told them, Lady Thatcher will not be seeing Sarah Palin That would be belittling for Margaret Sarah Palin is nuts.
We all knew this did not sound like something Lady Thatcher would say. It looks like we were right.

Margaret Thatcher being used to smear Sarah Palin?
As a strong conservative American with family origins in Britain this simply does not seem right. In a week that Obama sides with Argentina and calls the Falklands the Malvinas, comments attributed to Lady Thatchers staff are being used to discredit a leader of American conservatism.
Further, the remarks are an insult to me and to other Sarah Palin backers. I am a 60 year old with advanced degrees in medicine and business who has started businesses and been the CEO of two of them. Is Lady Thatchers position that I am unable to judge the sanity of those I support?
I urge Lady Thatcher, who is a real hero to many Americans, to re-evaluate this alleged derogation of Sarah Palin, and if possible to meet with her directly to strengthen the cross Atlantic ties of freedom loving Brits and Americans.
Respectfully yours, (DaMav)

Dear Mr -,
Thank you for your message.
I have no inside knowledge of this business to offer I am afraid and certainly am not in a position to make any kind of statement on Lady Thatchers behalf. Im happy though to give you my personal view.
The Guardian, of course, is not a newspaper at all sympathetic to Lady Thatcher (or to Mrs. Palin), so reports on this topic, from that source, have minimal credibility. If nothing else, would Lady Thatcher have ever described a prominent US conservative politician as nuts, or approved an ally who used the description? I would hope that question answers itself.
Of course, sadly, Lady Thatchers health is not good these days and such considerations naturally dominate her schedule. That much is true. Someone once said that if you plaster together the true and the false you thereby manufacture the plausible, but in this case I dont think even that much has been achieved by the Guardian.
On the Malvinas, the OAS never learns and the State Department endlessly seeks to curry favour with it for the sake of the a quiet life. The question is a closed one as far as we in Britain are concerned, as it is in the Falklands themselves where opinion is undivided.
Best wishes, Christopher Collins Margaret Thatcher Foundation
We were right. The Guardians article was likely just another lame Palin smear by the left. What a horrible rag.
Another Leftie lie bites the dust, but the problem is, that crap is out there.
It’s how they operate. They put outright lies out there, knowing it will spread like wildfire. Once it’s all over the world, they might put out a retraction, if they are called out on it, but as you said, the crap is out there and all people remember , and see, is the original lie.

Exactly,Like the old preacher said,go up in the steeple and throw a hand full of dust into the wind,Then try to get every bit of it back.
That’s an impressively written letter. I don’t recall ever having seen something that eloquent having been produced by our nation of “national” treasure unionized public school teachers or their pupils
The left knows that Thatcher has health issues and thus she can not see Palin.
So the left substitutes a lie for the real reason.
Hey Onyx, can you ping the group?
There is a reason the language is called “English”.
:)
Thank you, my Dear. Nice to have my suspicions about UKG verified.
That little communist twit at the Guardian had no contact at all with the Iron Lady or her ethical people. Shame on him.
Yes indeed.
I’m getting a lot better at thinking “Oh b***s***” when I see something outrageously negative about the good governor. ;-)
We often hear *God works in mysterious ways* and I’m a believer.
Sarah Palin never fought the release of her emails and look what’s happened to the evil media in their search to unearth dirt!
Yes, I truly believe that our Lord has been watching over his servant, Sarah Palin, and I continue to pray He will. I know that you’re also praying for her protection and blessings.
May God bless all of her supporters and Sarah Palin and give her strength to continue the fight that must be done to save and restore our Republic, which means returning God to the centerpiece of the public square.
Prayers for Lady Thatcher and for Lech Walesa, the two remaining giants of our lifetime. Rest In Peace, beloved Ronnie and John Paul II.
Thanks onyx!
I knew it was just another hateful lie.
“I knew it was just another hateful lie.”
That is all they got,A bunch of Liars and losers.
I wonder how the Guardian will now respond to this. Probably by hiding for a little bit while things blow over.
