Dems to Weiner: “Resign!”

Weiner to Dems: “Nuts!”

I don’t think he has anything to lose by sticking around. If he quits, he’s still a national joke, but one without any income. Admittedly, the story will probably die down fairly quickly but he’ll still have to go out in public. If he stays, he keeps his salary. Conservative blogs and, to a lesser degree, the MSM, will continue to hound him, but it will eventually die out in a week or two. He’ll probably be kicked off any committees but, hey, he’ll still collect a paycheck and might actually get elected for another term.

Regarding those latest pics of Weiner: I just couldn’t glans at them.

Yes, that’s true, but it is NOT impeachment.

“The Weiner double entendras will live for a long, long time...”

OK, article should have been titled “Weiner’s Staff Shrinks”

Even DNC chair Debbie Wasserman-Schultz is down on Wiener.

So, is A. Weiner a prick or an obnoxious @$$h013? Can he be both at the same time?

Weiner’s staff should take a pole.

BARF ALERT:
The elite hollywood stars, lame street media, and
congress are scheduling their annual gala celebration by
"roasting their favorite political hack", Anthony Weiner ...

They will "roast their Weiner", and Chris Matthews is wetting
his pants, with chills running up and down his legs.

>>Glad to see your eternal devotion to Musica.
I’m a dog person but seeing the grief a neighbor went through with his cat I’ve learned there is little difference<<

Thank you, you are very kind.

We love our charges (cats, dogs, and even gerbils, rabbits and others). God provided us the ability to attach to and care for them. He then gave us, through them, the understanding of what true, unconditional love is. A glimpse into what God provides to all of us.

It isn’t so much a theological quandary about what happens to our beloved pets after they pass — the answer is before us.

The “Rainbow Bridge” may be poetic, but there is a very real foundation there upon which we can rely.

Some forget that God is all-powerful and can do anything. Jesus had to die for our sins, but our sinless charges did not need such a sacrifice.

God loves us all, and He will ensure we have our beloved charges with us in the bye and bye. As will we spend eternal time with our beloved relatives.

Now, if I can just justify that end result...

Finding positions for everyone in Weiner’s DC office could take a week or two.
What the...?! If I lost my job today it would take me 6 months to find another one. A week or two?! That's it???

You're missing a more important point. It appears that the leadership is featherbedding a few jobs because the pervert's staff is "entitled" to employment; so new positions must be invented.

WTF?
Doesn't the replacement for the pervert get to appoint this own staff (assuming there is a replacement for the smarmy moron?)

Wiener’s staff are members of the Schumer network, the largest political network in the country at this point.

They take care of their own at the expense of all others, specifically at the expense of all others.

Completely agree, but it’s a distinction without a difference, except in name.

The more I spend time with people, the more I enjoy being alone with my dogs.

I disagree. In impeachment, the “defendant” is first examined in the House, then turned over to the Senate for a trial.

In expulsion, the person is tried and convicted in the house they are a member of, and then they’re out, or they are found not guilty (or whatever term is used).

Totally different, with different standards used for “conviction”. For impeachment, the standards are written in the Constitution (with the interpretation of those standards left up to the voting members of each house.) For expulsion, the standards are totally up to the house they are a member of.

All that is the same is the potential result: the member is removed from his/her elected office.
