RUSH LIMBAUGH: Folks, as I've been alluding to (but not overdoing it) in recent days... Well, it's not really been stringing people along. I had to give some advance notice, I couldn't just spring this on people, but today is a day in broadcast history that I'm never gonna forget and I hope that you don't, either. Time to reveal the secret...

I love iced tea, could someone ping me with how much they like or dislike it?

I heard Rush going on and on about this “Two If By Tea” today, but I thought he was introducing a new sponsor (and overdoing it quite a bit).

Is this his own product?

I ordered it. Was happy to see it has real sugar and not corn syrup. Will see how the family likes it. I will like pulling a rush Limbaugh bottle out at picnics or the beach.

If it tasted like the moms make it in Georgia, Alabama or Texas, I'd be in for some. Not sure about Cape Girardeau moms? From what I have heard from Rush's about his mom, she was like mine, “Shut up and drink it”.

Well, at $2 bucks a bottle I want to pick up something worthwhile, even though I love Rush on the label.

So, how is Rush’s designer tie business going?

I drink a lot of iced tea but I suspect he’s going to pimp this new product so much that it’s going to take him off message about politics.

I hate to sound cliche but “stick to the issues, Rush”.

I hate to sound cliche but “stick to the issues, Rush”.

Some of the biggest issues this country faces is capitalism, business, and regulation.

Rush is now dealing with these issues first hand, as an actual producer of goods (as opposed to producing and distributing information & opinion).

So he is very much "sticking to the issues", as now he'll be able to talk about more things that affect American business with direct knowledge!

Shouldn’t that be “Two if BUY Tea”? It’s two dollars a bottle.

Yes it’s Rush’s own product. He has been setting this up for nearly a year now and he owns the co. The tea itself is from S. American but everything else is American made and American work force. Kept it secret the whole time.

I knew there was something different about his promos for this product. I was busy, and couldn't listen closely today - just sort of had the show on in the background.

Interesting choice for a business for Rush, I'd say. Tea...Tea Party...? Could be.

A portion of every bottle sold goes to our wonderful friends at the Marine Corps-Law Enforcement Foundation. Now, these people are the ones that dole out college scholarships to families of Marines killed in action.

Man, oh, man, was I excited. Rush was talking about marking the calander as an historic day. After listening to all Glen Beck has been involved in, rewriting the Federalist Papers in modern language, starting his own TV station, his push to get people to improve themselves as a way to improve the country, etc. I couldn't WAIT to hear what Rush was going to do....

WTH? TEA?

Rush, I love ya. I get you at work, you keep me entertained, focused and sometimes you have stories that I haven't already read on FreeRepublic.

? Freaking Tea? Historic? Epic letdown.

Rush is now dealing with these issues first hand, as an actual producer of goods
******************************************************
Producer of goods my *ss , he simply calls the bottler and they do all the production work, same with the web site and call center , web sites are cheap and I’m sure he didn’t create a call center, he contracted with an existing call center on a per call basis, his only input is in peddling the brew, he doesn’t have any employees and no real possibility of a loss when he’s got 3 hours a day to plug the stuff.

If he wanted this to be a true test he would have hidden behind a llc and not advertised that it was his ,,, then HIRE people to try and get it onto the shelves.

This is another distraction like the ties and club gitmo ... Rush , this isn’t a test ,, don’t fool yourself ,, If you need another yacht call me and I’ll handle your investments .. I’m tired of your whining about your high yield MBS stuff crashing and your complaining about people just not paying their mortgages.

IIRC, Snapple dumped Rush after they were acquired by Quaker Oats.

Dumped Rush and Howard Stern. I think Schweps owns it now. Did you know that SNAPPLE had designed a label around the
Boston Tea Party and a ship?
