Khomeini was exactly that. He said America “must be wiped out from the map of the world”. He called us “the Great Satan” the phrase his inheritors still use.
So if libs control Congress it is OK for the President to do what he wants?
It was Congress’ decision - Constitutionally speaking.

I remember his rhetoric - typical Shi’ite fundamentalist verbage. But he was not a Twelver, which Ahmedinejad is. Hastening the return of the 12th Imam by washing the globe in blood, etc., etc., chosen by Allah to be the One to bring it about.
