From The National Journal: The House’s independent ethics office is looking into sexual-harassment claims leveled months ago against Rep. Alcee Hastings, D-Fla., the Wall Street Journal is reporting.
Citing sources familiar with the inquiry, the investigation, which began at least a month ago, is being conducted by the independent Office of Congressional Ethics and not the House Ethics Committee.

Hastings is a former impeached, disbarred bucket of human feces. This should be highlighted everywhere.

Another black Democrat CBC member under investigation. Rangel, Waters, and now Hastings. And the really pathetic thing is, Hastings is already a known crook who was impeached in 1988/89. Apparently for a majority of black people, criminal convictions and obvious wrongdoing somehow manage to be a resume builders. I’ll never forget blacks in DC voting for Marion Berry even after he was caught on tape smoking crack with hookers.
Correct. He’s an impeached former federal judge convicted of bribery and malfeasence. Why he is serving in the House of Representatives instead of the big house is a reflection of his idiot constituents. If he can only add sexual harassment to his resume, he might be eligible for a better leadership position in the DemocRAT party.

Hastings to stay in her apartment while she served as the Commission’s lead staff representative overseas; subjecting Ms. Packer to unwanted physical contact, including hugging her with both arms while pressing his body against her body and his face against her face; inviting her on multiple occasions to accompany him alone to his hotel room; making sexual comments and references to Ms. Packer, and asking Ms. Packer humiliating and inappropriate questions in public, such as “What kind of underwear are you wearing?”"

Well, so far Breitbart seems to be hitting home runs..... be interesting to see how this plays out...
It was the truth that impeached Hastings for corruption when he was a judge.
If he is removed, Hastings will just run for the vacant seat like Adam Clayton Powell.
He needs to be convicted in a court of law, the penalty being he can never hold a public position.
