In the wake of the recent memo from the Obama administration which announced “prosecutorial discretion” in dealing with illegal aliens, Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents across the country have been speaking out what many of them are calling a “backdoor amnesty.”
On Wednesday, ICE Union president Chris Crane told PRNewswire: “Any American concerned about immigration needs to brace themselves for what's coming. This is just one of many new ICE policies in queue aimed at stopping the enforcement of U.S. immigration laws in the United States. Unable to pass its immigration agenda through legislation, the Administration is now implementing it through agency policy.”
Crane continued: “ICE and the Administration have excluded our union and our agents from the entire process of developing policies, it was all kept secret from us, we found out from the newspapers. ICE worked hand-in-hand with immigrants rights groups, but excluded its own officers.”
Also ignored by the press, was last year's no confidence vote ICE agents gave Obama appointee, ICE director John Morton.
The National ICE Council represents about 7,000 agents and support staff.
Those agents, just as many American citizens are also convinced that the new policy, which gives special preference to illegal aliens who have a relative who has served in the military, those who are enrolled in any education program and even those who are pregnant or nursing is simply to a move from an unpopular president, desperate for re-election.

I agree that scary times are ahead, but take stock in the fact that Obama’s grand scheme isn’t exactly playing out as they thought. Now, I’m guessing here, but this is what I think they thought would happen (in no particular order)...
Drop DADT and cause a large exodus from the military of conservative Christian types.
Produce results of “gunrunner” to restrict 2nd Amendment rights.
Pass Amnesty, which would fill the ranks of the military up with liberal democrap clones.
Set up martial law under the guise of a “national emergency” with the Amnesty/military clones.
Become dictator.
Of course much of those things aren’t playing out quite right for Obama, but if Republicans/conservatives don’t get someone to replace him next year, the above could come to play.
That’s exactly right. It’s already done. We little people are just going through the painful realization now.
Again, why can’t the federal govt. be charged under the RICO statute?! Specifically the Obama White House.

Many people I know are going, I call it mini Galt, scaling back their financial footprint, try and save like crazy, learning trades on the side, thinking in terms of self sustaining. etc.
I think many people know in the pit of their gut, this isn't going to end well at all. Not even remotely for many people
Can not the House of Representatives petition the courts to order the law of the land be enforced?
The courts can order forced busing, enforce other elements of the civil rights act, and any number of other rulings where the legislative branch must obey the court.
Why not this?

Are the Repubs going to say anything? Do anything? How can federal agencies do this? If the Rs say/do nothing, they’re worse than useless.
Are any Rs going to act as they should, as the voters who voted them in want them to? Or are they going to be silent helpers of the Dems by saying and doing nothing?
We so desperately need new leadership in Washington to STOP illegal immigration, make anchor babies illegal (even if it means amending the Constitution), heavy, enforced penalties on hiring illegals, and stopping all taxpayer services to anyone and their kids who are not legally here.
Who has the b@lls to step up and fight for this and risk (oh nooooo!) being called a racist???

It’s becoming clear that the Rs are as much the cause of our problems as the Ds.
They’ll stay silent. I’d be surprised if they do anything.

At the very least, put bars on your windows. Move to a gated community if you can afford to. And don’t hesitate to assert your second amendment rights.
If you live in California, get out while you can. IMHO, that state will be the most affected by this.
How this passes for brilliant politics escapes me. Want to get votes? Get the illegals out so American unemployed have an opportunity.
Any Pubbie owning a decent set, should be able to cram this down any opponents throat.
