Half of Americans want Congress to probe Obama's eligibility

Half of Americans would like to see Congress investigate Barack Obama's eligibility for the presidency and nearly that many believe the definition of the constitutional term "natural born citizen" means both parents must be U.S. citizens, according to a new scientific poll.

"There's no marginalizing those who want this matter investigated by Congress," said Fritz Wenzel of Wenzel Strategies, who conducted the WND/Wenzel Poll telephone survey June 16-19. It has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.85 points.

"Even among Democrats, more than one in four – 28 percent – said they now want an inquiry, as do 43 percent of independents and 77 percent of Republicans. Interestingly, men are much more skeptical than are women about the question of eligibility – only 42 percent of men said they think Obama proved his eligibility by releasing the electronic birth certificate, compared to 59 percent of women."

The poll indicated 43.5 percent of Americans believe that a Hawaii birth would make no difference in Obama's eligibility, as the Constitution requires both parents of a U.S. president to have been U.S. citizens – and Obama's father was not a citizen.

The figure included 56.9 percent of the GOP, 40.2 percent of independents and 32.9 percent of Democrats.

The eligibility saga, as Wenzel noted, has taken on a life of its own. It began with questions about Obama's birth place and parentage before his election. At that time, he released a computer image of a "Certification of Live Birth" from Hawaii and insisted it was original and the only document available.

Original Long form birth certificates are sealed and archived by Order of the Court when an adoption is finalized. A new C.O.L.B. is created with the new parent(s) name listed as the birth parent(s) and a name change for the adopted child may be formalized, as well.

Obama’s history is confusing because the Soetoro adoption was annulled. For example, Lolo Soetoro became Barry’s Obama’s stepfather when he married Barry’s mom. Lolo Soetoro became Barry Soetoro’s paternal father listed on Barry’s new C.O.L.B. (Soetoro C.O.L.B.) when the adoption was finalized. Lolo Soetoro was stripped of his rights as the paternal parent when Obama Sr. returned to Hawaii and complained the Soetoro adoption should be annulled because he was not notified nor did he consent. Lolo Soetoro became Barack Hussein Obama’s II stepfather after the adoption annulment. Barack Hussein Obama Sr. was listed on BHO’s II C.O.L.B. as the paternal parent.

The annulled adoption stripped Lolo Soetoro of his parental rights but not his marriage. BHO’s II medical, immunization, and school records with the name Barry Soetoro are sealed by Court Order. Barry Soetoro becomes persona non grata. BHO II can legally state he has never used a name different than BHO II.

An American Refugee Resettlement Organization maintained legal custody of BHO II until he turned 18. His case manager in Connecticut filed his SS-5 with the SSA in 1976-1977 using his status as a Permanent Legal Resident in the United States as his qualifications. A document examiner with the SSA reviewed and verified the SS-5 and its supporting documents. An alpha-numeric code is generated as a result of this document examination. BHO’s II PRA field is marked with a “Y” (Permanent Resident Alien = Yes).

Obama’s SS-5, Application for SSN, was filed on his behalf by a case manager at an American Refugee Resettlement Organzation. If Obama would make his SS-5 public, then we could find out who had custody of him in the mid-seventies and drill down to the circumstances of Obama acquiring his Certificate of Naturalization.

The following is my opinion: until such a time as the majority of states have a process by which candidates to national office, President and V. President, must prove they are natural born citizens, there will be no way to assure candidates meet the Article II, Section 1, eligibility requirement.

Until then, there exists no way to assure the integrity of any candidate running for national office.

Just for the record, if you look at an actual copy of the United States Constitution (or the high resolution scans from the National Archives website), you will notice that the most prominent, and probably the most important words are . "Natural born Citizen" isn't in the top ten most important phrases.

Still, I would be more comfortable with Congress looking into this than with the courts trying to write a brand new law requiring some kind of proof. We don't need activist judges. That's a dangerous game. Even if you think you agree with the results, it's still dangerous and outside the constitutional separation of powers.

The problem isn't so much that Obama isn't a natural born citizen. The bigger problem, and the one that will destroy this country, is that 52% of the voters thought he would make a good president. That points out a serious educational problem with constitutional knowledge and the appropriate roll of the Federal government. He was a known liberal/progressive/socialist, and it was known that he had radical, revolutionary socialists and communists that advised him. Yet the people still voted for him. That's the problem.

Getting rid of him on this "technicality" won't solve the underlying problem. We'll just have another socialist to deal with after the next election if we don't educate our fellow voters to prevent candidates like this from winning in future elections.

I, too, have information about Obama, his birth in Africa, for which I cannot provide a source. They people involved do not want to die.

So if the source cannot be named, I understand. But anything is better than suspecting you’ve either made this up or have firsthand information and do not wish to be fingered.

Try being proactive and research this issue yourself without the drama.

Don’t ask the question, “Where is Obama’s birth certificate?”

Ask and research the question, “Under what circumstance does the registrar of vital records for any state remove the Original Long Form BC and secure it in a separate location?”

“Under what circumstance can a person have more than one SSN obtained by filing more than one original application for SSN?”

Note: Don’t believe the misinformation a person can have only one SSN throughout their entire life. Some people do have more than one SS-5 with the SSA and it is not fraudulent.

That’s avoidance of answering the request for a source by accusing me of being ‘dramatic’.

I’ve been researching Obama’s background since March, 2008. This was the normal pattern for me, researching the backgrounds of candidates, that I used every national election.

In researching Obama, it was a bizarre experience. Information was literally being scrubbed from archives as I went about looking for info. The final sources of information, the last to be scrubbed, was African news journals, and those overwhelmingly described Barak H. Obama, II, as born in Kenya.

The summer of 2008 I determined, to my satisfaction, that Obama wasn’t born in the U.S.

A year ago I was contacted by someone with information about a family of missionaries, two of whom had been assassinated in Kenya, because one of them had accompanied Stanley Ann Dunham and her newborn son from Kenya back to the U.S.A. in August, 1961.

I call that tragic, not dramatic.

And I have not ignored Barry Soetoro’s school record.

A private investigator, Neil Sankey, discovered Soetoro used a ‘SSN’ number beginning with a 999-xx-xxxx prefix while attending Occidental College. This isn’t a SSN but a tracking number used by the federal government to keep tabs on foreign students receiving education aid.

People are always throwing around the notion that because Congress is not going to investigate and impeach him, and no prosecutor is going to investigate, and no court wants to get involved hearing the merits of it, that questions about Obama’s eligibility should be just flushed down the memory hole and we should stop talking about it.

But these polls show that the long stonewalling by Obama and the questions surrounding what he has released do hurt Obama with the public.

It’s like his violating the Constitution and the War Powers Act to launch a war against Libya without authorization from Congress.

It’s true that Congress will never impeach him for his unconstitutional and illegal action. And it is unlikely any court will agree to hear any such case on the merits.

But still, his launching the Libya war does hurt him with a significant portion of the public.

These are negatives that with other issues have a cumulative impact on Obama’s image going into the reelection.

Not true. Check my post history. I was just part of a long thread where that statement was thoroughly debunked. As soon as FReepers became aware of his non-citizen lineage, FReepers began discussing his failure to qualify for POTUS. That's a fact. FReepers are largely Constitutional conservatives. We care about these things. The growth of birther'ism as the word spreads has been dramatic.

What I find most interesting is that you would sign up in January of 2011, claiming today that something was not posted and discussed back in 2008. How would you know? Where were you in 2008? Did you do an exhaustive search of the post histories? Or did you sign up just to troll?

It is his Social Security number, hie passport records, His college records and who paid the bills. his Pakistan trip withhis Homosexual room mate what he did between the time he bcame a community organiser, why he went to Chicago to live, when he was raised in Hawaii.
