Today I got an instant message with a link to (Dinner With Barack) a fundraising campaign being pushed by the Obama 2012 Campaign. I clicked it and didn’t give it much thought at first. The “Dinner with Barack” campaign is a fundraising contest where you donate $5 and get entered to win a place at dinner with Obama.

The second link, which was an update to the original contest, was much more entertaining. Mainly because the contest was............

I couldn’t believe my eyes and ears. When I saw that little clip this morning, I thought it was satire! This is unreal! What a clown, what a mockery of the highest office in your country. What foolishness from the leader of the free world. This is like some kind of joke on America.

Just imagine if Bush had done this. Obama has totally tarnished the White House and the presidency.

Personally, I'd rather eat at the closest soup kitchen. The company would be much better!

As far as violating campaign laws - if he is ever brought to justice, the usurper will have so many charges that there won't be room for this one, so he doesn't care.

In order for a contest to not be considered an illegal lottery, there are three important words that must appear: NO PURCHASE NECESSARY.

There are three components to an illegal lottery: chance, consideration, and a prize. If only two elements exist, you have a perfectly legal contest. If all three exist, you are breaking federal gambling laws!

I'll break down each piece:

Chance: If a contest is not skill-based, it falls into the category of chance.
Consideration: This basically means an entry fee. If there is a cost to enter the contest, then consideration exists. A postage stamp, for example, is not consideration. Requiring the customer to purchase a product, on the other hand, is a good example of consideration.
Prize: Without a prize you probably wouldn't have a contest.

Again, the president of the united states of chicago is entering gangland tactics, at his whim, to satisfy his primordal urge for power.

Raffle for Obama reminded of an old internet joke, which follows:

On Monday Fred, an old country farmer, bought a mule from Luke, another old farmer, for $100. Luke promised to deliver the mule the next day.

On Tuesday Luke drove up and said, "Sorry, Fred, but I have some bad news. The mule died."

Fred: Well, then, just give me my money back.

Luke: Can't do that. I went and spent it already.

Fred: Well, OK then. Just unload the mule.

Luke: What ya gonna do with a dead mule?

Fred: I'm going to raffle him off.

Luke: You can't raffle off a dead mule!

Fred: Sure I can. I just won't tell anybody he's dead.

Several days later the two farmers meet up.

Luke: Whatever happened with that dead mule?

Fred: I raffled him off just like I said I would. Sold 500 tickets at $2 each!

Luke: Didn't anyone complain?

Fred: Just the guy who won. So I gave him his two dollars back.

Obama is dead politically, but they're going to have the raffle anyway. The winner can get his $5 back.

I think you are correct. Regardless, this scumbag has made a joke out of the office of President. The Obama’s make ponzi scheme types look like minor league.

I’d consider if it is a ‘Whudunit’ type of dinner with multiple dead bodies, at the end M Poirot solves the mystery.

The purpose of the $5 donation is to get names and contact information. Those who would enter are automatically on all the fundraising/get out the vote lists, and their names could be used later for donations of more significant amounts, under the mandatory reporting amount, by anonymous/spam donors.

What a clown, what a mockery of the highest office in your country.

He's not a clown to the America haters, the marxists, pimple faced computer geeks, the illegal aliens, aliens in general, democrats (well maybe behind closed doors at home, wacky environmentalists, the unwashed, ignorant voters and blooming idiots. But to the rest of us he is a total national embarrassment - he and his critter wife.

That is what he is and that is what he does-the cheap and gaudy. The real cause for concern is that Americans voted for this clown and his ilk, that is frightening.

I would hope that a conservative (Herman Cain comes to mind) with a modicum of “campaign sense” would put in their $5 and then file charges with the FEC when they don’t win the dinner.
